The IOC and the IBA are in a war of words here with a much larger context than these two fighters and their opponents.
You seem to think that you are the victim in all of this.

Don't blame this woman - she is following the rules of the IOC. The IOC is the issue.
I also blame the woman who threw a tantrum (Carini). She had no issue until she got out-skilled by her opponent. And apparently Imane Khelif who supposedly "hits like a man" has only KO'd 6 female opponents out of 51 and has lost 9 times to females too. Basically Carini would probably be facing better boxers who *are* 100% female.

I've read she may have hyperandrogenism, which causes high testosterone levels and it reminded me of the track and field athlete Caster Semenya. Their condition gives them an advantage over normal women, but they can't compete with men at all.
But it doesn't matter - she should be banned because she has an unfair advantage - as the test she failed before stated. It's not her fault though - it's the IOC's fault for not having proper rules to deal with this
As for her - it's a shame. But we have to have rules, not everyone can be an olympic athlete.
ALSO I blame her opponent. So many other women have gone the distance with Khelif and 9 have beaten her. Khelif has 50 fights and a 5% KO record. So no way does she hit as hard as her cry-baby opponent claimed.
For comparison Clarissa Shields has 20% KO record and Savannah Marshall has a 70% KO record.

While waiting for the winner to be announced, several times she calls out to her corner 'non è giusto!' - this isn't right!
People saying she looks like a man, lots of woman who box and mma look like men.
This isn't a case of trans (if born a man i agree should not be allowed to compete with woman)
Algeria is a ****** country they don't allow *** change or lgb whatever its called. That is european countries who allow that.
Khelif is a female born a female always been a female. The Italian quitter watch her fight from 2022, she falls to phantom punch and quits claiming injury. The facts are Carini should be the one getting all the hate, she is a quitter and awful boxer who should not even be in the olympics. Khelif has lost 9 times no one had an issue with her before she was even at the past olympics.
The IBA corrupt organisation banned her and another athlete (also in the olympics and getting no hate) after a tournament had started. The testerone and xy there is no facts on, iba never released any official findings only claimed a gener eligibility test they specifially also said no test for testerone. The XY thing solely comes from a statement from the IBA (russian) president who said she has xy, and he made the comment after a russian boxer got beat by Khelif.
Total non story. Carini should be the one getting hated on the quitter.
More outrage about this than the dutch rapist who flew to the UK and ****d a 12 yr old british girl, yet he is in this olympics and most people dissing Khalef probably have not said a word against himLast edited by Boxing 112; 08-03-2024, 07:29 AM.

But there are several things wrong with the rest of your post. You suggest that Khelif only failed the test as part of a set-up, because of beating a Russian. Problem is, although she beat a Russian in the first round, her semi-final opponent was the one who replaced her in the final, and she was from Thailand. So there was no benefit to the Russians.
Even if you think the Russians are so bitter that they would fabricate a failed test just because one of their boxers lost, that still doesn't add up. Because the Taiwanese boxer who failed the same tests didn't fight any Russians. So you are pushing this conspiracy theory with Russians sneaking round making boxers fail tests for having beaten them. Except they only targeted 2 boxers at the whole competition, and one of those boxers didn't beat a Russian so why would they frame her too? And why not frame any of the other fighters who actually did beat Russians? Why did Khelif not appeal to CAS and get her medal and prize money?
