It all well and good to criticize Canelo for fighting Berlanga. But why didn’t Morrell fight Mbilli himself? The guy’s last three fights will be Kalajdzic, Sena Agbeko, and Yamaguchi Falcao for fvck’s sake.

Morrell and Benavidez are both on the same side of the street with PBC. Why haven’t they fought each other?

All of these dudes are doing the same thing they accuse Canelo of. Avoiding the tough matchups.

Because mbilli refused twice to fight for the belt, he was mandatory for three years. But you know that.

People still finding excuses for Canelo remind me of the Cult of a certain Orange political figure. No matter what , no matter the mental gymnastics necessary , they will find a way to stick by the object of their devotion. The Cult leader can never be wrong.

At the end of the day, we as a fan of boxing, and I think you're one of us, regardless of who you follow wants the best fights to be made. It is beyond me that the new generation, with some exceptions of course, are playing promoters/manager/matchmaker and they excuse their idols with the most ridiculous post. One of my favorite fighters was Duran, I enjoyed everyone of his fights, when he lost to Hearns I was in denial for about 24hrs, I knew he needed to shed a bunch pounds the last 6 weeks, he was always fat between fights and this I know for a fact, but then I said to myself, if he fight Hearns five more times he would lose each and everyone of them, he has no chance at 154lbs. Barrera was another one that I followed, never ducked anybody and even rematched his nemesis junior Jones. Too many divas, some more than others.

Boxing is beautiful, if you're a boxing fan you want to see the best fights, not mismatches and if your favorite loses so be it. Used to be if they wanted to make money, they needed to fight the best available fighter, not anymore, fans needs to wake up.

Yes, but it's getting worse. I don't think is going to die in the literally sense of the word, because we humans beings always crave for some kind of violence, but the divas need to step up their game or get out of the way, the corruption has reach everybody even the minds of some fans.
