I’m of the school of thought that Canelo beats Benavidez. Always have.

With Benny moving up to 175, the longer he stays there the more I’d now favor Canelo even more to beat him because you can bet when the fight gets made (if it even gets made), that Canelo is going to have him suck down to 168. And Benny will take that offer. And then after the fight, some critics will say, “Of course Canelo beat him. He waited until…yada yada yada…”

I WILL say, though…there IS something to be said about what many critics want to point out (and fighters like Malignaggi have openly criticized) which is I don’t think Canelo would get as much flack (he would regardless) if he’d just vacate the belts and then just fight whoever. Canelo will make big bucks just fine with or without the belts. Holding the belts hostage while fighting whoever has brought us to Berlanga.

And this feels like September 2009 all over again when I looked at Mayweather Marquez about to fight and thought, “This is such a lock. The odds for the underdog winning have to be +10000.”

This feels like that. Only difference is I liked Marquez. And Marquez was leagues better even with his draws and losses than Berlanga.

Ginger would be favored and I can see him winning w/a body shot but I think David pulls it out. Sad part is him and his fanb!tches making excuses on why the fight shouldn't happen......but BerNALGAS and 154lb Charlo and Munguia earned/deserved the fight....foh

And, Canelo is still fighting...anyone who is not named David Benavidez. ALL fights are potentially dangerous. Bottom line, he won't fight Benavidez because he doesn't believe he can win. It's his ego that can't stand another loss, not fear for his safety.
I honestly have no track into the Freudian underbelly of Canelo's mind... Presumptious as it might be, I do not believe you do either...

This type of fighters like canelo, tank and you can throw in Mayweather are a new phenomenon in the sport of boxing. They find a way, with the help of the alphabet soups organizations to make money with the least risk. And ginger has take this to a new heights, his fans are the most ****** people that I have encountered excusing every $h1t he has done and the ones he will be doing. For as long I can remember it was always an A side, Marciano, he did ducked Nino Valdes, Robinson, Ali, Leonard, DelaHoya, Pacquio, look at their resume and you will find a few elite fighters in their record, having been beaten by some of them. Now check Mayweather, canelo and Tank and tell me what you see. Then again why do the boxers don't sue the alphabet soups? As a fan we have the power not to buy, that's all and is a lot. The media can denounce it, but they would lose their perks, so they're corrupt as the organization and the fighters that are using those same corrupt alphabet soups as a shield. I'm not watching that farce, not even for free.
I do not disagree... Except perhaps defining "new." At least since the days of Leonard and Hagler things have been inclining that way... If that is new to you so be it.

I am not excusing anyone just looking for the root of the problems to be be destroyed. Fighters will fight the best if they have to... The reading comp here is really bad, and so is the sense of control... My posts have always suggested that instead of crying like you are about a fighter YOUR A FAN DON'T BUY THE FIGHT! I keep saying it lol. 'And no Canelo is no better or worse than the rest of them.

People hate the s c u m bag Paul brothers and I agree... But they sell fights that casuals like to see. Why can't boxers sell fights? Like De La Hoya did? etc. And why can't fans not buy the overpriced PPV's? I don't lol...
