bivol was 183 on that night most likely as ive outlined why thats likely true, are u not reading what im typing! lol
u need to ask canelo what his fight night weight is since u are a big online buddy of his clearly lol
id guess its very close to 183 actually, canelo is a stocky guy, forget about looking at height, tank canelo are stocky guys thats why they are short for their class, they have bulk elsewhere etc

I believe Cinnamon also offered Bivol the same deal for a rematch as the first fight, despite losing to him. The nerve of that guy!Comment

that's pretty generous
prime Canelo sure as heck wasn't making plans around the Benavidez of back then lolComment

Heck, the announcers on HBO said Canelo walked around @ 175lbs ten years ago. It's easy to conceive him weighing 185-190 on fight night, when fighting @ LHW, at age 34.

I don't know, I think that would have been an easy out. Canelo post-Golovkin 2 was on fire ready to bust heads in all weight classes. Benavidez was just starting to step up in competition at the timeComment

Yes he was, maybe not in the bubble you live in but he certainly was. When everyone found out that he was not going to fight Andrade to become undisputed and instead move up to fight Kovalev is when every starting floating Benavidez's name around because we all knew that Canelo would end up settling at 168 instead of staying at 175.
I went to the Kovalev fight and that was in November 2019, Benavidez gets stripped early 2020, and then Canelo begins talking about becoming undisputed at 168. He Canelo was already being questioned if he would fight Benavidez and would always steer his answers to something generic like "i'll fight whoever the fans want me to fight" or "i'm always willing to fight if it makes sense" (obviously in Spanish though).Comment
