Benavidez has nobody to blame but himself

Your arguments are nonsensical, and ones you are making up in your own head. In 2019, I would have favored GGG to beat Benavidez just like I would have favored Canelo to beat Benavidez....that means nothing because they still would have been attractive fights. Even up to last year I favored Canelo to beat Benavidez, I am only now thinking otherwise because of how Canelo is avoiding the fight.
If Benavidez hasn't displayed anything in the ring then what has Fielding, Yildrim, Chavez Jr (a fight us in Mexico wanted in 2009 not in 2017 lmao), Ryder, Munguia, or Berlanga display?
Benavidez got dropped to Gavril in the 11th round because he got sloppy and dropped his hands, it was a flash knock down. Then rematched Gavril and beat him from pilar to post. Canelo was almost KO'd at that same age by the unknown Cotto brother...s h i t happens.
Fielding - Canelo's first (paper) title at 175, Yildrim - mando, Chavez - tune up (for GGG), Ryder - mando (already beat Smith before Canelo so a better fighter than record shows), Munguia - payday, Berlanga - payday
The only version of Canelo Benavidez can beat is the one in 2-3 years when his legs start to go. Other than that, this is all clout chasing

Benavidez hasn't risen in popularity and is still Mexican/high risk no reward. Nothing's changed lol

LOL Saunders?! Beating a shot Groves and Lemieux makes him an excellent fighter? Saunders will never see the Hall of Fame.
But Benavidez isn't worth it despite have Lemieux on his resume too?
It's one thing to be a Canelo fan but you're not a fan....you're something beyond that.
Lemieux moved up and got worn down by the naturally bigger man. Not the same as when he fought Golovkin or Saunders
I thought he was elusive, sharp, and scoring some very nice shots before Canelo caught him. It's rare you see someone outbox Canelo
I'm a fan because I know what I'm watching. You probably still bad-mouth Mayweather over the cherries and have no idea the sort of fight tactics the best boxers today employ because of him. But it's like that old saying, if you know you knowComment

Lol at least thanks for admitting the type of fan you are. You accept paper champions, worthless mandos, tune ups, and "paydays" where you spend but receive nothing in return OVER a fight the general HARDCORE AND CASUAL fans want to see. No wonder boxing has been dying.Comment

It wasn't peak Golovkin, but still close enough to his prime. It's not like Golovkin had been in any wars by that point. If he wasn't already bigger and stronger than Canelo at the time, it would mean more.
The PED thing is hard to comment on. Most if not all of the top guys take supplements, and every year they update the list on what's banned and what's fair game. Neugenix, an over-the-counter test boost, was fine for the longest then it caused you to pop and blah blah so I don't knowComment

Saunders, like Fury, fought to the level of his competition and bloated up between fights. He's one of those fighters that were fine doing just enough to win, but you can tell if he really took boxing more serious, his career would reflect that. The technical match-up between him and Andrade would've been exciting to witness. Plant's Philly shell wouldn't work well at all against the awkward southpaw thoughComment
