Comments Thread For: What's next for Devin Haney?

With all due respect, every commentator ignored the elephant in the room, Devin Haney isn't making 140 for much longer. The days of being the biggest guy in the ring are over and at 147 Devin doesn't have enough power to keep anyone off him.
I hate to say it but just like Teofimo and Ryan Garcia, Devin Haney may have looked tremendous fighting in the very smallest weight-class he could shrink down to but at 147 they all look average.crimsonfalcon07

He might fight Cruz, he would certainly have a distinct size advantage. though he'd have to play matador all night trying to avoid him and tie him up. Another snoozer. It's either that or wait a year for a rematch with Ryan which will likely be a catchweight with endless demands to give him an advantage. Otherwise I won't be surprised if he fights a Youtuber or MMA guy. Maybe he can get a PPV with Claressa Shields, LOL.
