The choice comes down to the fighter to decide whether facing someone or not
The same goes for his inactivity , it’s on him
Instead of staying busy like he said he wanted to , he’s still on course for one fight a year maybe he can squeeze one in before the end of the year
A D he needs to stop refusing fights with his comment that these guys are not on his level , just stay busy
I always like a busy fighter. I don't care if his foe is not the best, activity keeps sharpness and good habits. That is why the greats back in the day have so many no names in their records.

      I totally agree
Inactivity is just bad especially for an individual sport imo

True, but any fighter don't think like that inside the ring. It's not like he's superman to be in complete control of the situation. He does whatever he can to finish the job. I doubt he's thinking, "I need to show vulnerability to lure the big fish," and get smashed on the face and stomach at the same time.

Boots clearly had no respect for Ave. I would need to judge his defense against a harder puncher in a fight where he's looking to box. I think the Lipinets and Villa fights were better barometers of he defense, and he didn't seem phased by them either. Boots's chin seems very solid at 147,

He can get away with it because he isn't fighting men his own size. He's also juiced to the gills.

I like Boots, very exciting offensive-minded fighter, but I couldn't help thinking to myself during the Avanesyan fight, what am I even watching here? Are we all supposed to pretend we're not seeing a middleweight beating up a welterweight? It was two men who belong in completely different weight classes and one of them is about to make everyone on the card fail a drugs test via contact high. Avanesyan was landing clean shots but they just had no effect.

At this point I have to wonder if we're seeing another Broner, i.e. looks great weight-bullying smaller fighters but suddenly has all of his shortcomings exposed when he has to move up and fight men his own size. He's better than Broner though, I'll say that.

That can be said about every fighter out there ( Peds )
              I think they’re all juicing , just some smarter ( $$$$$ ) than others

Unless he decides to cut down on his offend ewhich in reality is his defence lol
That's right That's an excellent point. Some guys their offense is their defense. And you got to work within that framework

When fighting all the no names on his resume, why does he need defense?

You wishy-washy weirdos got to make up your mind on what you want to see. Shakur showed solid defence, and you said he is boring. Boots showed solid offense, had decent defense and delivered what he said, you still say negative things.
