Of course those guys were tough fights. I'm just referring to this one particular fight. Pacquiao is going to be outweighed in this fight by a big margin like Marquez was against Floyd. That's why Cotto will get little credit from me if he wins.I agree that sometimes P4P list don't make sense but if Cotto beats the P4P king even if he is "smaller" (in weight, just 1/2" taller) off course he should move to higher P4P rankings than if Paul Williams beats a "bigger" (Pavlik is 1" taller but PW has 8" advantage in Reach) guy that is not even in the 10 P4P best and at this point even is lower than PW in the rankings.
Any way my point was not about ranking was about how you said that Cotto was not a risk taker and you never answered my questions.
Do you consider the fight with Mosley, Margarito and Clottey non risk fights for Cotto when he took them, being those guy the most avoided guys at WW (along with PW), and do you consider Pacman also a non risk fight for Cotto??? I already admitted that PW is a higher risk but I beleive that you a wrong about Cotto not being a Risk taker.
Even this fight is a Risk when he will be facing a faster, better stamina and movement boxer which will also have the advantage of a better corner.Comment

Let's just put it this way. Cotto is going to automatically move up into the top three P4P by beating a smaller guy in Pacquiao while if Williams beats Pavlik who is considered a bigger fighter he probably might not even crack the top five. That's bull**** to me. But that's just the way the system is set up.IMO if Paul beats Pavlik he will definitely be top 5 p4p, no questions asked.Williams should be close to the top in the P4P ranks because he is so hard to beat. his style is just difficult...and the only problem and reason cotto probably wont move up in weight or face williams is because the guy is a short WW. he has alot of meat on him and has big bones but he is a pretty short WW and would be a VER short LMW with most must guys at around 5'10-6'1..aside from that though i could see Cotto moving up in weight and taking all the top LMW with Williams as the question mark..martinez would go down just like Quintana it might just take longer because of the reach advantageComment

Cotto has no business with Paul Williams in the ring and I am a huge Cotto fan. Not only because of the height advantage that you mentioned but also because of a 15" reach advantage (67" to 82") that Paul will have. that reach advantage will make Paul Williams feel like a 7 foot fighter against Miguel and almost impossible to overcome.Williams should be close to the top in the P4P ranks because he is so hard to beat. his style is just difficult...and the only problem and reason cotto probably wont move up in weight or face williams is because the guy is a short WW. he has alot of meat on him and has big bones but he is a pretty short WW and would be a VER short LMW with most must guys at around 5'10-6'1..aside from that though i could see Cotto moving up in weight and taking all the top LMW with Williams as the question mark..martinez would go down just like Quintana it might just take longer because of the reach advantage
Paul Williams is a unique fighter and will be soon in the top P4P list he just has to continue beating people and adding great names to his resume. But he should not go to higher than 160 lbs. probably 168 max. for a couple of fightComment

Wow, If lil Pac beats Cotto, I think all Cotto nuthuggers are gone in this thread. Maybe for good. Next are Gayweather nuthuggers. bwahaha!!!
LMAO.
Common guys, LET THE FIST DO THE TALKING. If power wins boxing, and why the hell Calderon is still undefeated, even Gayweather. They have fought alot of guys who have power.
SKILLS WIN FIGHTS. NOT POWER ITSELF..
Feel free to agree or disagree ( I dont care if you disagree..

Yes, we all know that there will be a weight advantage similar to what Cotto had to overcome against Clottey. Cotto comes fight night at 158 while Clottey come in at 170 (+12). Pacman might come at 148 (+10 for Cotto) but on the contrary from the JMM-PBF fight, Pacman will have the advantage of speed. stamina, movements, better corner for the fight something that JMM didn't have against PBF. Not to mention that Pacman already has some experience fighting at or above 140 when JMM jumped to 135 to fight for the 1st time agains a guy you weighed in at 146 and is probably the best skilled boxer in the sport.
JMM had much more disadvantages coming to fight PBF than what Pacman will have when facing Cotto.Comment

I remember Pacquiao saying "Most boxers like to predict how they are going to win in their up coming fight" he also concludes "Thats not good" furthermore "I let God judge me wether he wants me to win or lose"
Now thats real class by Pacmang.
All i heard from Cotto is how he is gonna do this, do that, do this do that to Pacquiao but on the other hand Roach seems to be the only one talking...never Pacmang.Comment
