Despite DLH's performance against Steve Forbes, I still felt he could beat Pac because he had the size advantage (or so I assumed when the fight was announced) and enough skills to offset Manny's aggressiveness. I was also leaning towards Hatton to overpower Manny over the long stretch.

But I think it's a mistake to project these Pac victories as an indicator of how well he handles bigger men. Unlike DLH and Hatton, Cotto is a prime fighter despite his loss to Margarito.

I don't see a huge speed advantage for Manny. Nor do I see Cotto being turned in the middle of the ring, getting flustered. He's got solid boxing skills himself. It may take a few rounds, but he'll start timing Manny. Then it's game over.

Like I said, I'd be surprised if Manny survives 12 rounds. Big props if he does. In any case, I'm really looking forward to an exciting fight!

iight heres what i think cotto has been in the ring who has speed judah and mosley and neutralized both of their movements and handspeed both hits harder ( yall have to be nieve or retarted to think otherwise)than pacquiao and like pacquiao judah was a southpaw.. lot of people dont realize that cotto is actually left handed but fights in a orthadox stance and love the lead hook to the body and he uses his jab effectivly when he traps opponents in the corner ie (clottey) he doesnt get excited he looks for openings and punishes his opponent.. pacquiao chin like alot of you mentioned hasnt been tested since 130...and the question that will quickly be answered can pacquiao take and elite welterweight punch..i dont think he can i see cotto winning rd 6 no less than rd 9 by TKO

I don't think one fight necessarily proves you are the best. It depends, but i'm sure he has what it takes to win.

Cotto is just another DAVID DIAZ.

Don't forget to watch the fight in Nov 15 and you'll see I'm right again just as I'm right in the Mayweather Marquez

i agree with both in a way yes hatton signature win was against the best jww in history in zsyu (sorry if i spelled his name wrong).. but at the same time he was on the decline and that was hattons only signature win of his career dont get me wrong he beatin quality fighters but he lacks the signature wins to put him with the names with floyd pacquiao hopkins mosley
