yep somewhere between rounds sever and eight he would have his ribs cracked and be worn down from all the mistakes that Lomo took advantage of -- experience does matter in the ring .......................Challenges taken and accepted makes a bit of dif too................

as far as i can see it was a take it or leave it offer from haney at the time, 25% for a shot at undisputed, thats what haney said, to me where shakur is and was & the fact that shakur says he beats haney EASY, its a no brainer to take it and then be the MAN at 135, instead of where he is now
Maybe He let his ego and voices on his team tell him he didn’t have to do that. My guess is he saw Bob do for others and wanted same done for him.
That is reasonable.
He isn’t in a bad place. He has choices. He can make this work for him if he makes the right decisions.Comment

I do wonder why that fight started near midnight in the east coast. That was ridiculous.Comment

Stevenson was wise to turn down a low-ball offer. Stevenson, if he keeps winning, is two to three fights, or less away...from a showdown with either Tank, Loma, or Cruz. $15 million is a nice amount, but Shakur will only keep approximately a fourth of the money - taxes, sanctioning fees, management, etc ..will get the rest. Arum was basically giving Stevenson a $4 million contract - that's $800,000 a fight.
Stevenson is taking a huge gamble, but I believe he's worth more than what Arum offered.
Hopefully, he'll sign with a promoter that can elevate his stardom, and pockets.
Boxing is a cruel and corrupt sport.

Will this kid ever get decent PPV? Has he ever been to any? But I will definitely not pay for it. Fans wants to see an exciting fight. I've only watched him fight once and never again. He's a good defensive boxer but that's all. Nothing exciting from someone who only talk the talkComment

You do make a valid point He could’ve taken a bad deal just like others have in the past to get fights/ titles they want.
Maybe He let his ego and voices on his team tell him he didn’t have to do that. My guess is he saw Bob do for others and wanted same done for him.

You are missing that He can go to each promotion and try to get the best deal, including going back to TR.
He can also start his own promotion and work with whomever he wishes.
Edit- the other part you are missing is the Saudi involvement. They have enough money to coerce the best fights. Shakur will be fine in against the other top LWs.
