I think every fight should pay 60 to the winner and 40 to the loser. This would be fair to the fight fans and not just the fighters.

You beat a washed up 147 'pounder and now... you think your going to walk all over the BEST 147 pounder and look onto your next fighter, i cant wait till nov 14th, please make a time travel machine and teleport me to ringside.

Yeah Floyd may be difficult, but Arum is equally greedy. I don't think he wants this fight. Just the fact that he considered someone like Chavez Jr. a potential opponent for Pac means he doesn't care what fans want to see as long as he doesn't have to split promotional fees with another promoter. If Pac gets passed Cotto, especially in convincing fashion, then a Pac-Mayweather fight would be too big to ignore. The only thing bigger may be Floyd's ego or Arum's greed. But big fights like this are too hard to scrap. The Pac-Hatton fight also had difficulties in negotiating the split, but it happened because the fight was just too profitable for everyone and the fans were really itching for that fight.

Pac wont be fighting Mayweather, Cotto will because Cotto beats Pac.

He's simply not giving Shane the payday that he wants. So not only is DLH pimpin Shane and screwing him on potential fights, so is Mayweather.
Very true. This part of your post I agree with. When Shane expressed interest in fighting Mayweather after he won the WBC interim title from Collazo, I'll bet you anything that Golden Boy talked him out of it and then they shoved Hatton down our throats. Good for Golden Boy and Mayweather's pockets, but sucks for the fans. With all that said, Floyd needs to fight Mosley to see who the champ is at 147 because it is clear as day that Pacquiao will not fight Floyd.

News flash to all boxing fans...

There is way to much money to be made for either side for this fight not to happen.
It will happen! It's just a matter of when...Ofcourse,the sooner the better but with Floyd jr and Bob Arum involved,,,this might take some time.

Now we have a bonified star in manny who's fight legitimate threats to him and beating them senseless.. KO'S.. and a soap opera star like foney, who just promises this and that and blah blah.. and delivers his constant hit and run tacticts.. vs oponnents that are clearly outmatched... so i side with arum, manny has delivered action packed get up out your seat fights... while money's fights still get booed and the action is probably more when he's running his mouth...

another factor will have to be on how manny does vs cotto... if he ko's him.. well enough said.. cause money dont have anybody on his resume that's a legitimate elite welter.. and well as good as cotto...

after cotto manny should go after marquez 3.. cause the way many looks at jr welter, it would be very difficult, even for a huge marquez fan that i am, to believe marquez would win..

margarito/berto should be next!! for 2 reasons.. one to see how legitimate andre berto is? if he is.. and the other is to see how margarito makes his comeback... by trying to get a hold of yet another welterweight strap... granted i have heard margarito is considering the move to 54..
You're not only a 'newbie' to this website. You are also a 'newbie' to boxing. 95% of Tyson's fight was on regular cable. So how was he a PPV King?

Floyd shouldn't have to take a pay cut because Arum has a hard on for him. If roles were reversed 50/50 wouldn't be an option. When Arum thought Pac was a bigger draw it was 65/35 all day, now it's been recognized Mayweather consistently does better PPV #'s it should be 50/50 that's BS, Mayweather should stick to his guns, if he can do 1 million ppv with Marquez, he can do at least that with Mosley, Cotto, or Williams.
