According to promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank, a possible super-fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao is unlikely for 2010. When it comes to negotiating a fight with Mayweather, Arum sees too much trouble coming. Mayweather's constant trash talk, mostly regarding his position to grab the lion's share of the money, is enough to make Arum pass on the stress of trying to make it happen. [details]

Demanding 60-40, and not interested in anything other than that.
Ridiculous.
Its not like Floyd is being greedy. He just wants what he's worth and that is easily fair market value. Look how Oscar was raping cats when he was the man and Floyd is doing Oscar numbers right now. The bad thing for Floyd is that everyone hates him and Arum knows it. Thats why he's saying this now because he knows that no matter what, the public will blame Floyd for the fight not happening but Floyd isnt dumb enough to fall for that and despite what Arum says, I dont think Pac is that dumb either. He wants that big money fight and its nothing to him to take less because he knows he's retiring afterwards and he would make millions

I think 50/50 is good consideration what each brings to the table
BUT the fact that Floyd has out sold Manny with the same 3 opponents,
I think it's not unreasonable for Floyd to ask for a more bigger %.
Arum greed will make this fight happen.

Stack the PPV numbers side by side and Floyd kills him. I know one thing, if Pac dont do a mil vs Cotto then its a done deal to me because everyone clowned the Floyd-JMM fight and said it would bomb while everyone is acting like Pac-Cotto is the best fight since slice bread. If Floyd out sells him then how can you argue that he shouldnt get that much? You act like Floyd is a chump who hasnt done anything. He'll walk for something less and I would to. Im not going to get played by Arum or Roach. Thats what fools like Mayorga and them do. Real cats get there money or tell them to **** off.
