    Maybe they should go public.

Anyone interested in some shares of WBC?

Second, Benn fought Algieri seven years after Pacquiao handed him his first loss. He was washed up, it doesn't reflect on how good he was or wasn't in his prime.

Third, Algieri won ISKA and WKA world pro kickboxing championships before he even started his boxing career. Then he won a world boxing title and you want to call him average just because he lost to freaking Pacquiao, Khan, and Spence?

You want to criticize the man's takes, be my guest, but how a forum poster can attack the in-ring credentials of a guy who won pro world titles in two different combat sports is beyond me.
some fighters are just not impressive no matter how you talk them up, i get it. you make him sound important past his abilities and skills the other guy makes him sound more usual then exceptional. i just never was all that impressed with him ..........................

I feel Zhang could have fought flip for ibf title, instead of ddd. But it is what it is.

Maybe then he’s a good fit for Victor Conte SNAC. I’ll give you that.

Algeri will put you to sleep.
I don't like Tim because he don't know how to shut up. he constantly talks 100 mph. and he also wasn't as great as he like to act. but I hate espn commentary. and I can't stand that constant babble. who I hate worse than anyone on mic is Shawn Porter. he has the mindset like Algieri. he likes to hype up the Low level guys no matter what is happening. watched fights other day and he had quit scoring fight because he literally didn't know how to fill out score card and how score rd in which a point was taken from a fighter lol. he needs to get away from mic. seems like a wonderful person, but no mic time for him

                  Good post!!
I am amused by people who feel as if they're qualified to criticize a fighter, or any doing extraordinary things.

Frank Warren who promotes both Daniel Dubois and Tyson Fury was probably leaning on the IBF to make this decision. He undermined Tyson Fury. It’s his insurance policy in the event that Fury loses again he can fall back on his other champion Daniel Dubois.

So awarding an "Undisputed" title isn't possible if one of the Sanctioning bodies that media bestows credibility to disputes it. Just not doable.

However; if they recognized the real linial champion with a title belt that can only be won and lost IN THE RING, preserving the most important thing about Boxing - it's long history; that would be a GREAT thing!
The problem we have in boxing is that multiple world title belts allows fighters who win one of them to avoid fighting other belt holders while still calling themselves The Champion of the World. Throwing yet another belt into the mix is not going to solve that problem, it will only make it worse. Especially if the 5th belt "can only be won and lost IN THE RING."

Without the option to strip a lineal champion of his title for not fighting the best available challengers, we will inevitably see more "lineal world title fights" like Fury vs Seferi, Fury vs Pianeta, Fury vs Schwarz and Fury vs Wallin, and fewer fantastic 50/50 fights like Fury vs Usyk.

If the best fight the best consistently, the way they used to, historically, there will be no need to even think about lineal champions any more, and the lineage can go back to being what it used to be, historically: Simply a record of who beat who and when, to become The Heavyweight Champion of the World.
