Slick Eddie needs to cash in on Berlanga and pronto. The dude just isn't that good. I am going to show my age but Berlanga reminds me of Jose "the threat" Baret. All knockout wins until the competition got better. Canelo will punish this guy!

I’m in agreement , Slow Eddie cashing out the Berlanga before it becomes a liability

then, he got a gift draw in that fight & one of the worst cards in the history of the sport with addy bird scoring the fight 118 - 110 for canelo

then if thats not bad enough, he gets busted for peds in the run up to the rematch & lo and behold does a lot better in that fight as well, thats canelo for u though, A side stuff with a ginger twist
Canelo still fought GGG when he was still THE man. Did Jacobs fight well enough to take something out of him? I highly doubt that.

Also, calling the first fight result a gift draw is just sheepish. Gun to head, if you HAD to pick a winner, then maybe GGG, sure. But please don’t sit there and tell me that GGG without a doubt won that fight easily. GGG controlled the entire middle rounds 4-9. Canelo started strong and finished strong (1-3, 10-12)…with maybe a couple or few rounds as swing rounds sprinkled throughout. People love to call this a robbery because ONE judge’s scorecard overshadowed what was otherwise a great night and a great fight.

How the hell do you have 11,000 posts and aren’t nuanced? Jeez Louis…

I can almost hear the ring announcer now, "Introducing the mandatory challenger, Edgar "Who da hell is dat" Berlanga, vs the undisputed SMW champion, Saul " Da supreme cherry-picker" Alvarez!

I think it might have something to do with 87+ genders?
But I'm not sure. Maybe I'm not nuanced either, oh krap.

Would anyone pick Berlanga to beat Benavidez?

                      Anyone?

Berlanga doesn’t seem special at all to me. I give him no chance. If he wasn’t Bourica this fight wouldn’t be discussed at all, much less actually be made for the cash cow of the sport.

Who knows how much longer Canelo will stick around. He’s lost a step already, why waste more of what you have left on a pointless fight like this? I mean Canelo is gonna get paid big no matter what
