    Are you brain dead?

    He was P4P #3 and on the best run of his career by far at that time you retard He was the favourite to beat Hopkins. How could you possibly argue he was shot? How can you be P4P #3 and shot at the same time?

    And he didn’t win again because he was injured and only fought two more times in 5 years you moron You’d know that if you didn’t start following this sport yesterday.

    You have no clue what so ever what you’re talking about and everybody is laughing at you.

      Floyd's biggest fights, he was the favorite. So none of those wins count! Holy *** this moron
      What don't understand not all favorites are the same you idiot, its about their form that makes them favorite and Thurmans form was crap, if Thurman blew Lopez away and looked great he would have been favorite, but then again Manny would not have taken the fight if that's what happened.

      If your going to answer make some sense you moron, are you illiterate

        Hatton. DLH. Mosley. JMM. Pac. DO NOT COUNT.

        Mayweather's resume is DOG CHIT.
        Nobody said it doesn’t count.

        I’m simply pointing out that Hopkins was the underdog vs

        Tarver
        Pascal
        Wright
        Pavlik
        Cloud

        Meaning he was expected to lose, meaning they were dangerous, legit fights, all of which Top 3 ranked opponents.

        Let’s just get down the the brass here;

        Are you actually going to argue that this resume;

        Broner - Unranked
        Thurman - #3

        Is better than this resume;

        Tarver - #1
        Pascal - #1
        Wright - P4P #3
        Pavlik - #1 MW
        Cloud - #2
        Eastman - #1
        Shumenov - #5
        Murat - #9
        Jones - Unranked
        Ornelas - Unranked

        Or are you going to admit that you are obviously wrong?

          What makes Oscar an all time great?

          That has to be one of the most ignorant takes I've ever read on this site.
          Whatever, I’ll be ignorant just because I ain’t sucking Oscar off, or share the same opinion as you. In sports you WIN, IMO, yo lining a ATG losing your biggest fights.

            Pernell Whitaker wasn't a big win? JCC wasn't a big win twice?

            Do you even watch the sport?

              JCC was old, Whitaker KD’d Oscar, and outlander him at a higher percentage. Damn bro, I already gave the man his flowers for being a six weight champ, a very rare feat. He’s just not a ATG in my eyes. Don’t nobody get into the sport of anything to win. That’s like me calling the Chicago Bulls an ATG team over **** they accomplished nearly 30 years ago.

                JCC Whitaker and Oscar all of them are great in my book, if you dont think so who is in your list, I look at could they compete against anyone in history in their weight class I think they all could, there has been a lot of great fighters its not just a few. I agree JCC was shot when Oscar destroyed him.

                  Dela Hoya was competitive to all the ATG fighters he fought, win or lose (except against Pacquiao and Hopkins, for obvious reasons). That alone is a testament of how good he was as a fighter. Add to that, he defeated so many top 10 fighters in the division he was fighting. If anyone thinks Dela Hoya isn't a great fighter, then majority of the fighters today are all bums in comparison.
