It’s only good if Fury and AJ win, and even then to call it a unification bout feels wrong.
Turki still has his heart set on Fury and AJ fighting for the undisputed title, preferably against each other, after they see off Usyk and Dubois. Check this out:

Usyk's promoter said that the lineal title means nothing to Usyk because he doesn't know what it is. When you have the integrity and willingness to fight all comers of an Oleksandr Usyk, you don't need to know anything about imaginary lineal titles.

I predict that, while there is enough money available to persuade the top HWs to fight each other, the lineal HW title will fade out of the picture and it won't come back until the money runs out and the ducking and jiving starts again.
Lineal matters WHEN fans are willing to take the power and assert it. The analogy to classical martial arts was to demonstrate how simple an effective system can be... I guess that went over your head why am I not suprised?

Your cynacism regarding the lineal is a perfect example of breaking your nose to spite your face... The big organizations love when idiots like you give them the authority to say who is the best, despite that which is self evident. And it is not the fighter's responsibility to recognize the lineal...It is the fans!! We are supposed to drive this sport, we have a right to assert who is the best and who should have the privalege of being called so.

You don't really get it so this is my last post on this back and fourth... But imagine a system where in baseball some organization tells you "this year the two poorest teams are playing for the world series because they are our champs!! That is what these alphabet soups have done in boxing... Because fans are guillable and willing to give their power away to them. They have a vested interest in taking these mediocre fighters "champions" and fools like you? Buy right into it. the Lineal tells anyone who should be undisputed right now... Usyk beat the best... Simple.

You need to use longer form of the URL, not the one from the share button (youtu. be).

Your analogy between lineal champions in classical Japanese martial arts and lineal champions in pro boxing didn't go over my head. I was simply trying to let you know, politely, that it was a stupid comparison to make.

Are classical Japanese martial arts governed by multiple different sanctioning organisations who routinely recognise different champions at the same time?

Are classical Japanese martial arts tournaments staged by greedy, lying, money hungry promoters who do everything in their power to freeze out and discredit rival promoters and the fighters who compete in their tournaments?

And are classical Japanese martial arts fans as obsessed with racial, ethnic and national loyalties as pro boxing fans are?

I would say the best argument against fans recognising lineal titles as opposed to the alphabet boys title belts are Tyson Fury's fights vs Sefer Seferi, Francesco Pianeta, Tom Schwarz and Otto Wallin, which were all marketed and sold as lineal title defences by Fury.

I rest my case, Mr I Am Much Smarter Than you.

Ok Mikey, thanks for the tip. Do you know why the URL from the share button is being censored now? It used to be ok.

Usyk and Fury are N.1. and 2. in division with or without any belt on the line for their fight. So yes, Fury is right.

Once Usyk wins the rematch. He shall go down in history not only as one of the all-time greatest fighters of his time but also the best Heavyweight of his time, era and generation as well.

Usyk, Fury and Joshua are currently ranked 1-3 by pretty much everyone right now.

Why wouldn't you want to see any of those combinations? They're the best fights possible.

There will be opportunities for others. That's what mandatories are for.

Usyk will beat Fury again and Joshua will probably beat DDD.

Nobody needs Usyk - Joshua 3, so Usyk will maybe even move down and fight Opetaia.

It seems to be part of the general changes of censoring here, but I have no clue why this specific URL is not allowed (I learned it the hard way when posting Pick Em videos), maybe all of the shortened URLs are?
