Is Devin Haney just another version of Adrien Broner?

    I dont think teo has much to complain about if the above info is correct

      Only explanation I can think of to that is either it's not true or ESPN is willing to give away that kind of money. $1.5 million to an inactive fighter like Ortiz is not easy to believe, but still possible.

        If Haney had Broner's power and chin, he could be a bad dude.

          Not quite, for one thing Broner was actually entertaining to watch. He was never in a boring fight during his prime. He took more chances.

            I just correct you by letting you know 23 clinches in a 12 round fight that averages to less than twice per round is objectively not excessive.

            It's not difficult but you seem to struggle mightily with it. Probably because you are legitimately retarded.
            Not to interject myself but that made me laugh out loud in a public place.

              Stop.

              Haney's 25 years old & has already been undisputed at 135, & fought a lot tougher talent than guys like Tank, so of course he's going to struggle & have close fights.

              This type of talk is exactly why guys just fight soft touches until they get to 30 years old now.

                Question is would Haney last as much as Broner's career did after getting debunked by Maidana?
                Corey Spinks is a better comparison.

                    In so far as both men have an appeal to our more base instincts, Broner was much better at exploiting it though I do think there is a market for those who want Ryan to finish the job with Haney... This sells fights, it was always the best thing Haney could do to sell a fight, sad as that may be.
                    Yeah, I guess there's only one Broner then, one of a kind.

                      They are pretty different all things considered.

                      Haney=no power even at 135 Broner= hit hard at 130-135
                      Haney=fast feet Broner=slow feet
                      Haney=questionable chin Broner=strong chin
                      Haney=not a draw Broner=was always a draw
