I think context matters if Fury pulls Lennox Lewis out of retirement and beats him does that make his resume better than Joshuas? extreme example but Joshuas resume isn't all that either just good marketing, yes everybody is running from Joshua like Wilder and Fury even though it's on record Fury offered him the fight just over a year ago which he turned down. Hindsight is great and all that i don't think seeing Fury as the 1st/2nd best heavyweight was due to his "cult/fanboys" it's just based on facts at the time.
Aj “ barely” faced any good fighter? Resume not that good ? Wins against undefeated top 10 ranked at the time - Parker, Breazele, Whyte, Martin,…one loss Povetkin, Wallin, Puleav, Ruiz..lost close decisions to now undisputed for sure Hof Usyk! Are you kidding or just a hater? And since when is a decision win more convincing than a ko? Aj had the balls to go war with Wlad to get the Tko…and Wlad had NOT been out two years - 18 months to be exact! As far as resume go - You must have Aj and Wilder confused ..with the endless cans and 40 something yr old way past their prime(Ortiz) applying to the latter!!

But if Joshua gets a thrill out of denying Fury the chance to be undisputed, sure. Good on him. He will still be no better than the third best HW in anyone's eyes
He's Never Fought Fury the linial champion, never fought Wilder, the hardest hitter and most title defenses.

He did fight Usyk and Ruiz but went 1-3.

After the 1st Ruiz fight, fans here panned him as a manufactured fake.
If he doesn't dust off Dubois pretty easy, that will be his legacy.

      It's a cruel world.

Fury beat Wlad more convincingly than AJ beat him? I recall AJ dropping a younger Wlad mulitple times and KOing him. I can watch it back, but pretty sure that's how it went. I cannot rewatch the Wlad-Fury fight; nobody can.

Specifically, it's poor form for him to do it after behaving like that in front of the entire planet, and at the expenses of who? Usyk
BUT whatever AJ's faults he is not a guy who goes round disrespecting people. Given that Fury accused Usyk of taking steroids while having had a PED ban himself. Seems legit to criticize him to me.

Look at those names though. You're legit counting Brezeale who was starched in one round by Wilder? Whyte? Who Fury didn't even have to get out of second gear to beat? Martin???? He barely turned up to defend his belt? Ruiz? Whose done **** all since other than look pedestrian against Arreola and Ortiz?

The only name he's fought that has stood the test of time has been Parker. But, for all we know, Parker could end up beating him now as well.

And anyone trying to sell the idea that a 41 year old who has been out of the ring is better than his younger, more active self is an idiot not worth engaging with.

Again, if Wilder was built to appeal to the casual who knows **** all about boxing. Joshua aas built to cater to the idiot who _thinks_ they understand boxing but, in all actuality, doesn't.

A 12 round shut out will always be more emphatic than KOing someone you went to war with and whom KD you as well.

              Isnt this like...basic knowledge???

No, not at all. Fury jittered, poked and bounced around for 12 miserable rounds. Only you and his gypsy cousins think much of it. AJ went to war with Wlad and beat him down.

Wilder Ko’d Brezeale after Aj starched him. So You dismiss the above top 10 undefeated/one loss fighters. So are you going to actually say Fury or Wilder have better resume?? lol! Please explain and back it up..names??? Will it be crickets or will actually attempt?? Oh and to your
point of Wlad being out of the ring for 18 months - not two yrs like you stated - and 41 …the commentators and most writers stated the Wlad Aj fought was the best version they had seen of Him in years. Most knowledgeable boxing fans will acknowledge that after watching the fight..most but probably not yourself bc it diminishes your lame argument. And Wlad age..what was He forty when Fury beat him. Wow - such a huge difference!

Wilder and Fury don't have good resume. I have said as much plenty of times. It's just that Joshua's isn't exactly miles better either.

And I never stated Wlad has been out for two years. But 18 months out of the ring is ALOT. and anyone pretending otherwise is an idiot. And no one claims Wlad was a better version of himself, please quote where anyone says that. Oh right you won't. And as someone who ACTUALLY boxes, I take thr opinions of those who've been in the ring not the dumbasses who watch it.
