Would anybody disagree that rehydrating artificially, coming in more than 10 lb a weight class above for a fight, in principle has an equal kind of measure as taking nutritional enhancements? Even those that put on muscle artificially? They are both artificial means and both give one fighter and artificial advantage.

There is sooo much they could do instead of selectively punishing certain things. it is like gun laws: Common sense tells one criminals do not care about laws, so who will be having their guns taken? And if you are a criminal whom do you want to have their guns taken?

They could: Have enough judges so instant replay could be reviewed every round... they could put sensors on gloves, like they do for fencing... so punches that land could be counted properly. They cannot because the hand is quicker than the eye... They could, punish bad judges, create a fan base with regular broadcasts that would eventually create more fans willing to pay for premium fights...

They could have same day weigh ins, and make it so fighters that are damaging themselves by cutting weight to the extreme, are not encouraged to do so. An activity that I would imagine is at least... as dangerous as using certain nutritional enhancements.

But they won't. And it is sad

But just because something is a law does not, to me, make it absolute in any sense... laws vary from legislative runs, generated by lobbyists, to fundamental *********s that guarantee our rights... Haney signed with TR to get fights he wanted. He took a crap deal, including a BS rematch clause, fighting on the road, to earn and defend the title. Since then he’s defended against Loma, seen as the 2nd best LW, and then fought Ryan. Clearly he isn’t ducking anyone.

He is doing all the things posters like you claim they want done. It’s clear you hate him just because he’s an American.

I honestly couldn't wait for Haney to vanish if Ryan beat him legit. The worse part about this is he's back and has more attention than ever. He just comes across so corny. Like he doesn't know what image he wants to give off. One second, he's talking like a tough guy, the next he's saying Ryan is a terrible role model for kids and making a case for himself to be the role model instead. His fight style is as a good of a sleep med as Mayweather fights were. He's weight bullied fighters and still did not KO them to make matters worse. Yet he carried this status that he was the next man to beat for many years to come. I was like, gawd, I don't want to see this guy headlining main events for many more years to come.
