How would he have faired against Lightweights from other eras.

    Manny Pacquiao at 135lbs
    JMM at 135 lbs
    Jose Luis Castillo at 135lbs
    Diego Corrales at 135lbs

I genuinely think he loses to all four, but what do you guys think?
You can't even do these fantasy match ups for Tank because its beyond even the realms of fantasy to think he would fight any of those guys.

He's shaping up to have a Prince Naseem caeer

I don't see him beating any of them

He obviously get's totally slaughtered by Pacquaio.

The others are more competitve but he loses to all 3.

I think Tank beats Shakur and Devin, they wont be able to keep him off of them. Teo and Ryan rematch would be interesting, but I think he still stops Ryan.
Hes avoided them on purpose hoping they would keep moving up. Only thing left is an OLD FKN MAN and Shakur who is already to big for the division NOW. You want to bet a 100 that tank requires s DEHYDRATION CLAUSE for Shakur??? Hes pathetic and not just his fans but fans of boxing are too STU.PID now a days to see it. Boxing sucks.
Ive started watching more UFC. More **** for your buck and less spoiled b**** treated like princesses in the fight game. Bunch of men acting like spoiled teen age girls in boxing. Fook boxing.

Manny would possibly blank him, but I'll go the safe route and say Manny wins 10-2.

Marquez would be beatable for Tank but only by controversial decision. Marquez was a slow starter and when fighting the big name star, all the close rounds go to the star.

Castillo wins or loses in a close decision. Corrales probably gets stopped.

Agree with this. Marquez def tastes the canvas but survives and keeps Tank off him for one or two dicey rounds.

The rest of the roundw he wins with ease. Maybe even a cprner stoppage

I'll let you know after the Loma and Shakur fights.

Tank's power is real and it's above all the guys you've listed.

There is no denying his power is real, but all the guys I listed also had power at 135, can Tank take the pressure from Corrales/Castillo.

Can he handle the accurate power punches from Marquez? Marquez was able to keep Manny honest and time his speed and left hand, can Tank adapt to someone like Marquez, I don't think so.

Can Tank handle Manny's awkward style/speed and power at 135? I think Manny beats him quite easily.

                  Why?

Manny had one LW fight. Diaz when he was barely atop 10 LW. He was set up for the easy Manny win and had to be given an MD by Bob in his fight with Motalvo or Montaldo right before.

This was after the questionable SD over JMM, which many thought he lost, and before ODH.

His offense is spectacular no doubt. But this was the period where his defense was very troublesome.

Tank’s offense would make this a much tougher fight imo.

He loses to Pac and JMM, but I'd give him 50-50 odds with Chico or Castillo.

It is difficult though to handicap these fights, because the truth is that Tank has NOT fought elite-level fighters yet. Thats just a fact. And I dont really blame Tank for that, I blame his team. They are protecting him, even though he doesnt need protecting. He can crack for real, and has terrific in-ring IQ. But his management just keeps putting him in with B-level guys.

Well Pacquaio's win over Diaz is pretty much as good as any win Tank has at LW which says a lot but obviously we're not going to judge Pacquaio as a fighter off his LW resume alone. Do the fight at 140, Tank who struggled with Barrios vs the Pacquaio who polaxed Hatton in 2 rounds. How does that go? Not well for Tank I'd imagine.

I think Pacquaio's defense isn't bad at all, it's not great. Tank's is no better. Tank isn't even close to Pacqauio's level he gets absoutley battered from pillar to post.
