    Freddie Norwood
    Manny Pacquio(4)
    Marco A. barrera
    Orlando Salido
    Chris John
    Rocky Juarez
    Joel Casamayor
    Juan Diaz (twice)
    Bradley
    Kasidis
    Mayweather
Pacquiao let a lot of guys off the hook. Algieri would the most obvious example.

Marquez had the better career no doubt but as I said in a fantasy matchup, I’d side with Tank, I just think he clips him at some point.

Nate had already beaten Juan Diaz for the unified titles, so after Manny beat David for the WBC title, Don King set up a meeting with Bob Arum to try and make Manny vs Nate for undisputed. The talks didnt really progress too far, as we found out that they were also talking to Oscar. They ended up making manny-oscar, and who can blame them. Right after manny-oscar, Nate missed weight for the Funeka fight, and all the titles got separated. Manny fought Hatton at 140, and never went back to 135
      Ok. Insider info. Nice.

I can’t dispute any of this. Just making the point that beating Morales after he beat Manny didn’t get Raheem a fight but Diaz beating 3 loss in a row Morales, 2 in a row to Manny, got him that fight.

Tank’s great, but against Pacquiao, JMM, Castillo, and Corrales at 135lbs, I think he’d have a tough time. Those guys were legends with crazy skills.

having the WBC title is what got David Diaz the fight, plain and simple. Manny was collecting titles (and paydays) at that point. Raheem brought neither a title nor a payday to the dance.

He will get clip, keeping him down is the problem, and Tank would have to stand a return fire like he has only seen on tv.

Diaz got it because he was ranked #2 and was the WBC Champion.

Pretty much the same reason Ortiz for a fight with Floyd.

              It's fair game.
