Zhang? Would have been tough for even a 29 year old Wilder.

If Joshua didn't waste years losing to those underdogs, maybe he'd have earned a shot at proving himself against the other two champions of his era.
But his losses left him outside the winner's circle.
In what parallel universe is this winner circle?
    • Wilder didn't age out, he was 33 ...that's a fact, not opinion.
    • Wilder lost the first time he fought outside of the PBC stable of recycled nobodies and old men. That's not up for debate, it happened.
    • Wilder had a right hand and no skills and that was long before he fought Tyson Fury and he got exposed. Again just stating a fact that's easily verifiable on you-tube.
    • Wilder didn't age out he stepped up and lost the only belt he ever had. I'm sorry but that's just they way it went and it's not up for interpretation, it happened.

Now, if you want to talk about today in the real world fine, because today Anthony Joshua puts Wilder out, in one round while eating a grill cheese. After that you can cart Wilder by hospital gurney back to your imaginary winner circle with Dominic Brezeale and Bermane Stiverne.

Ngannou put Fury on his ass in what should have been a draw but sure, I understand why you don't want those fights to count but they do...and Anthony Joshua knocked them both out so live with it.
      They were crossover exhibition matches.

Wallin aint shït and the MMA guy had no business being in a boxing match execpt to entertain some deep pocketed camel jockeys.

Count it if you like but until AJ steps into the ring with an actual top 5 boxer he's nothing but a joke.

Joshua deserves to be up there beating the likes of Wallin , Ngannou , Franklin and Hellininus , the guy's obviously very............?

I’ve been to plenty and no they don’t..you’re the one that has continually referred to the performances of other fighters at a similar age to Wilder like Mike Tyson (conveniently ignoring Zhang). You even made a whole ****** list of a fighter’s first loss by age.

What’s your purpose of doing all that if you don’t believe that fighters age the same? I was just taking your argument and throwing it back in your face.

You’re so bent in your defence of Wilder, you’ve lost track of how hypocritical and nonsensical you’ve become. Easy thing to do when you defend the indefensible.

Corrupt belt rankings, yet another problem with boxing.
Ajs boxed absolutely nobody that's a threat, c class Franklin, c class Wallin with zero power, another shot 40 yr old in Helenius & a 2 fight 37 yr old one knee 2 fight amateur.

I dare Aj to fight Agit.

Good debate on this thread. (Several, actually). Plenty of meat on the argument against Wilder, his opponents and skill level.
Plenty on Fury and Joshua, for that matter too. That's boxing.
When Usyk loses, I trust we'll try being respectful.

The whole ducking thing I dismiss even when speaking to an individual who participated in the negotiations, as these views are typically skewed.
The skill thing for Wilder I liken to complaining about the too-small glove box in a Bentley, an insignificant issue; because he nearly always found the mark with the skills he did possess, even when in against the prime version of Fury.

Still; the repeating knee slappers and insults have run their course.
I respect the urgency of your posts here.
Moreover, you are a true fan of Joshua, a great heavyweight; and in support of Wilder I never had to endure the mid career KO losses against underdogs and a fall from grace, because fans can be brutal in their nieve critiques; and I therefore extend my respect to you and your perseverance.
So you go on and have the last word in supporting your faves.
You can watch your idol another 4 years before he also ages out of his relevance at Wilder's age.
              Enjoy the fights, my friend!

You may be onto something there; but he'll need to rematch Joyce.

Yet more deflection from an absolute joke of a so-called “journalist/historian”. You can’t explain your pure hypocrisy when talking about Wilder’s age, you won’t address whether Wilder was lying or not in that Twitter post saying he was offered more money to fight AJ than Fury, and you sure as hell can’t address why Wilder was “aged out” by the time of the Fury trilogy, but still looked a million dollars knocking out Helenius.

AJ is world-class but I wouldn’t yet call him great - I think he needs more defining victories to make that argument. An argument that can never be made for Wilder who has been repeatedly found out when stepping up, and can only hang his hat on 2 victories against a 40 year old fighter with high blood pressure, in 40+ fights..imagine that.

Anyway I’ll leave it there because you’ve proven beyond reasonable doubt that you’re devoid of common sense and lack the ability to answer basic questions when pertaining to Wilder. Have a nice day.
