In the interests of complete accuracy, Usyk is also a two-time undisputed champion.

And MJ is IMO the most credible threat left at 122, until Nakatani gets there, or maybe Bam. That's the fight I most wanted to see at 122 anyways.Tag, You're Hit

This is the organizations clearly trying to break up the belts.
IBF has already ordered Inoue to fight Sam Goodman which he is supposedly negotiating already.
So I don't know how the WBA are now throwing this one in there other than to force a belt being vacated

MJ @Wembley in September, Goodman at Japan or Australia in December, Venado in US next May come on (I can dream)
I can't imagine it happening. Naoya hasn't fought 3x in a year since 2017

Inoue fights wherever he needs to in order to make the fight. And I think we should be grateful that he DOESN'T worry about "his brand" as much as proving himself, quietly and repeatedly, against the best available competition.

MJ is probably the best name opponent left for Inoue at JFW, but I really believe (like most fighters) he's made to order for Inoue. It will be another highlight reel KO performance that ends inside of 6 rds.TheOneAboveAll likes this.
