This is laughable. Inoue should not be dictated to. This MJ guy will get crushed just like all the others. These clown fans and pundits want to see monster lose so bad, they'll try to push him up to 147 if they can.GoldenBackHand likes this.

This is the best next fight for Inoue. I'm glad it's on track to happen. However, who besides potentially Nakatani down the line is going to really challenge The Monster in the near future? This should be another great showcase of Naoya's badassedness. I don't see it happening at Wembley, though. I'd prefer it did just because I'd be able to watch it live instead of on replay. Plus, UK crowds/fans make for the best fight atmosphere.

I get it this Kornilov guy is trying to get the fight made for his charge but to say Inoue as champion should be fighting the contenders like all the other title holders is laughable. He has been cleaning out every weight class he fights in. He's not fooling anyone. As good as MJ is, it's not like he is some type of boogeyman that Inoue is avoiding. He's just become the next in line to get smoked.

In all honesty naming it a co-main feature of Inoue an3 Joshua with Joshua being the final match of the card might be the best balance possible between all the possible egos and titles involved.
The heavyweight former unified world champion from UK fighting for a vacant belt (assuming IBF) vs the Asian top 3 P4P undisputed superbantam belt champion mandatory defense against a non-Brit in a huge stadium in UK sounds like it could be negotiated.
Granted if it just becomes a generic Ariake Arena defense replacing Doheny with MJ wouldn't be the worst case either given the timing.
