Instead, Haymon used Schaefer and hung him out to dry.

Later, Schaefer started Probellum which was totally funded by Daniel Kinahan. When the U.S. and EU put a 5M bounty for the arrest of Kinahan, Schaefer’ was forced to close Probellum. Also, Schaefer is one of hundreds of individuals who has been put on the U. S. No Fly List like Tyson Fury and Frank Warren for his involvement in laundering money for Kinahan through his failed promotional company Probellum,

Schaefer is a dirty snake who cannot be trusted, so Mayweather better keep one eye open because Schaefer has a history of dirty dealing and screwing his paymasters. Everything Schaefer touches fails. Karma doesn’t like snakes like Schaefer.
As you pointed out, nearly the entire PBC stable was stolen from outside promoters. Today the PBC has neither the network or cash to support everyone under contract and Amazon alone is not enough. Floyd did a phenomenal job promoting Davis but Tank isn't with him anymore and Ellerbee went rogue abandoning Martin and Benavidez to chase Davis and Canelo money. Schaefer IMO is a sociopath that would sell his mother and send her COD. Schaefer has a lot of experience but I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him.

The business model of boxing is going through a realignment and there is more coming....

Makes one wonder if all the Tank nuthugging and Floyd and Tank beefing got Floyd all pissed and fire Leo ... I prefer Richard over Leo anyways. I could never listen to Leo interviews I found myself staring at the nostrils like the event horizon of a black hole.

I guess I struck a nerve, LE has been the "CEO" for like 12 years or something, longer maybe, and what is Mayweather promotions today? Who is the franchise fighter? How many current, active world champions? How many PPV buys this year? How many television dates? RS can address some of these things.

It seems at least to me that Leonard Ellerbe just so happens to be a casualty of the Gervonta "Tank" Davis and Floyd "Money" Mayweather, Jr's beef.

I just wonder how this would impact Davis' business relationship with both the PBC, Al Haymon and Floyd Mayweather? Tank has been riding Floyd's name pretty hard during the build up to this fight with Frank Martin.

I guess that Mayweather was disappointed in Ellerbe's inability to reign in Tank by telling to him to shut the fuck up about Floyd.

Richard is good at promoting events and was the business mind behind GBP’s rise

Richard running Mayweather Promos will turn it into a tier 1

Ellerbe would be okay as long as Tank Davis is active. Wahid relies a lot on Ellerbe's assistance, stipulations and all. I don't see any replacement for Ellerbe.

This move seems too late. Didn't Floyd promise to hire Schaefer before he retired years ago?
