Wonder how this came about. Ellerbe been with Mayweather since his early days as a fighter. "Effective immediately" usually means something serious might have happened behind the scenes. Who knows? In time, the more details and some truth will come out.

Makes sense, Mayweather wants to build a real promotional outfit with actual relationships not based on someone else's business (in this case Al Haymon and PBC). At this point LE hawks more for Haymon than Floyd. RS is a great choice to really build the business, and the stable, Mayweather is going to have to separate himself from Haymon promotionally eventually, this is the first step. I mean Mayweather promotions doesn't even have a website from what I can tell lol.

Ellerbe wasn't supposed to be in the Tank fights as soon as the Floyd/Davis breakup happened.
He injected himself out of nowhere starting from, if I'm not mistaken, the Ryan Garcia fight.
But since he knew Tank didn't have any replacement for him, he went ahead and behaved as if it's still business as usual.
Bottom line is there was no formal arrangement between him and Tank. Don't know who the middle man between them.

Damn Turki his excellency really making impact in world boxing , Floyd now making moves at top of his promotion i bet he wants to make business with the saudis more often a thing uncle Al might be reluctant to do. Maybe Nostrils Ellerbe resignation wasnt all that friendly after all. Who knows.
