Sad to say a lot of boxers' stories end up as tragedies. TBH, I have a horrible feeling that AB will be one of those stories if he doesn't change track very soon.

Thank you for your Freudian analysis that Gervonta is an introvert whereas Adrian is an extrovert. I have no idea what data you analysed to arrive at that conclusion but, in fairness, nor do I care, because I know psychoanalysis & psychotherapy are horse-**** from beginning to end. I understand your basic point, however, to be that once you win a title you should completely divorce yourself from the community you grew up in & if you can't/won't do that you'll screw up. I don't necessarily agree with that & I also don't think most fighters could do that.

The second part of that sentence bolded is key: Somehow people forget with Broner... Typical behavior in the ring, but man does he talk up a good fight!

Just calling it like I've always seen it. Dude's plan in every fight has always been to try to walk a guy down with a high guard throwing one punch at a time from early to mid part of the fight until the opponent gets tired and then let his hands go late in the fight when his opponent is tired. It's always been that way. Sadly, his lack of maintaining a fighter's lifestyle combined with his inactivity in the ring and activity outside the ring'(along with age) have left him a shell of himself. Might talk himself into another couple of fights, but with all of his personal troubles having obviously caught up to him, he might just be another case of being another "name fighting for a paycheck" type guy. Had all the skills and ability in the ring to be great, but just couldn't stop being his own worst enemy outside of it. Such a shame.
