Broner didn't throw many punches in the fight against Maidana. He's never been an active fighter. That wouldn't be a problem against average fighters. But against the elite class, you must be able to let your hands go. You can't be lazy and expect to win. He was lazy and tried to shoulder role like Floyd. Floyd had the body for the shoulder roll, he also knew how to make the most of the punches he threw. Broner ain't Floyd. His body is built like Gary Coleman, so the shoulder roll wouldn't work for him. Plus he wasn't the type of boxer who could make the most of a low punch output. Maidana may have humbled him, and he did get hurt in that fight, but he wasn't done physically. Perhaps mentally. I've never cared for AB. Glad he got beat. I knew Cobb would be a problem, because Cobb throws a lot of punches. AB hates active fighters (he's lazy; he doesn't want to work for his), and he's afraid of power punchers - and while Cobb isn't a power puncher, his high volume of punches can be a problem for lazy boxers.

The venue was sold out, but did you see all of round tables in that joint? Who goes to boxing venues with round tables designated for serving meals? LoL.

Broner is only a draw for Black folks who are turned on by cornball antics and fooled into thinking that fugaze clown is still good. I'm Black, btw. But I've known Broner to be a fraud for a long time. When I tune in to watch his fights for FREE, I'm hoping that he loses. He's been trying to prolong his career for the longest by cherry picking his opponents, and his fans have been none the wiser. He picked wrong....and I'm glad. Hopefully, we've seen the end of that joke!

The round tables are VIP standard at any Don King event.. the venue was packed with stars.. and boxing insiders.. you have no clue of what you speak.. he sells VIP tables and they are always sold out. The Saudis had a similar setup early on at their events.

I didn't say it wasn't sold out. If you have a small venue, filled with round tables, I'd expect a sell out. The Saudis have stadiums. So if those are sold out, even with round tables, that's a big deal. You're just an overprotective Broner fan

I hope all the young prospects are taking notes. Yeah, you worked hard to get out of the hood and make something of yourself, by becoming famous and rich, but why are you still doing hoodlum activities that can potentially take away everything that you worked hard for? Same thing can/will happen to Tank if he’s not careful, but I think Tank is a bit smarter than Broner. Tank is an introvert who just wants to make his bread and live his life quietly with his family, whereas Broner wanted to be the loudest in the room and wanted to outshine everyone by being a clown and now it’s party over for him.

Looked slow and out of shape following while following Cobbs around and getting picked apart. He might just be a gatekeeper with a big name at this point. Cobbs on the other hand basically called out Garcia and that would be an interesting fight to watch given that Garcia's biggest problems have been against southpaws. We'll see what happens doen the line after Garcia pays his price for getting popped.
The second part of that sentence bolded is key: Somehow people forget with Broner... Typical behavior in the ring, but man does he talk up a good fight!

Floyd dedicated himself to boxing, then used trash talk to become famous. Broner wanted to use trash talk to become famous, with learning to box being an afterthought.
