    Another reason here definitely.

Boxing promoters do this time and time and time again

If I were Wilder, I would fight Ngannou before retirement, then Jake Paul and maybe Tyson Fury 4

Yes, he should. Showing up just for paydays are both sadistic and sick. His athleticism is no longer there.

Perhaps, he should try giving Robert Garcia a call. In any case, he is a broken fighter now who should retire.

Obviously,, his heart is no longer in the fight game but what else new?

I’ve been saying this for many months now..

No trainer, whether Robert, Mayeather, Sugar etc can help Wilder at this point.

That's it for him, it's over.

He said he always wanted a body on his record, if he doesn't retire, that body will be him

Maybe now he can fight Kownacki. They are the same level.

I would actually pick Chisora to Ko Wilder.

I'd sign a please retire Wilder petition. I thought I'd be signing that after his Parker loss. It honestly stunned me that they brought him right back for another matchup. Though hearing from Turki multiple times, it was clear that he had in mind to make the AJ-Wilder matchup happen. All he needed was Wilder to get by Zhang. If you see him following Wilder flattened out, the dude is sitting in his chair with his arms crossed almost stunned. He knows he lost out on that from ever happening at this point.

I also noticed more so in interviews Wilder conducted during the pre-fight that he might be slurring or stuttering more than ever before. He's taken plenty good punches in his career before delivering his own. I think it's catching up to him. At this point he has nothing left to do in the sport. He got as far as he could with his limited talent (1 big right hand) and has earned millions with it that others could only dream of (including the haters).

I'll miss the excitement he brought to the division, but I can't deny, his Parker loss made me say, please retire. He was horrendous in that. I bought into the hype that it was ring rust and he would be his same old self vs Zhang. It looked like he was pretending to be his old self and was still missing the magic he had earlier in his career.
