        He was Box Office.

There's no ATG debate. He's not even close to that conversation.

Whether he'll go in the HoF is a different discussion. I suspect he will.

He is no ATG nor an HOFer but he went beyond expectations. Cmon man you just have to look at his $ accomplishment!
Can't really say it much better than this, so I won't.

No way on earth is he am ATG, but as I said before I wouldn't begrudge him scraping into the hall of fame in a quiet year for entrants.

He was an Olympic medalist and a WBC champion with 10 defences, he was also crowd pleasing, had a following and was a "name" in boxing during this era. He was in big fights that almost crashed the forums.

HOF isn't only about skills and in ring accomplishments, it takes a lot into account regarding the media side of your career and stuff so I think Wilder squeezes in. Just.

His trilogy and KO power was certainly something but I'm not sure what else. He doesn't have any career defining win and took losses against better opposition. He couldn't beat any top heavyweight in this era and was smashed his last few fights.

Wilder is obviously an ATG. He is the hardest puncher in boxing history. Only 3 men in the history of boxing could beat him. It was very unlucky for Deontay that they both happened to be active at the same time as him. That makes Wilder the 4th greatest HW of all time.

People are so desperate to hype this HW era, any name will do.
