  • I must confess. I was totally wrong about Hrgovic

He really is Yoka 2. No skills, no cardio, no heart, just lazy 1-2, 1-2, and than that funny lazy uppercut. Zhang fight was already a red flag, but Filip somehow edged it.

I predicted well Parker to beat Wilder and Zhang and also Zhang to knock Wilder out, I also predicted Usyk to beat Joshua and Fury, but about Hrgovic I was completely wrong.I don`t ses the big Croat coming back from the loss like this.

Maybe Hrgovic can beat some fringe contenders, maybe he beats Joyce, but I donīt think he has te potential to do something bigger.

    You don’t say…

We all get things wrong tbf, I always felt Hrgovic was a big stiff idiot though.

I've been saying for a while on here that Hrgovic hasn't got the minerals when it gets tough, you can see it in him. I saw it in the Zhang fight, poor body language as soon as it gets tough. No poker face either.

Makhmudov was another I said was a bully fighter that didnt have the heart to match it and we saw that was the case.

I think Hrgovic actually has a nice shot selection and a good chin but that's about it. Hes lacking in other departments, especially mentality and grit.

If you're losing a battle of grit and determination against Dubois of all people, then you really need to do some soul searching and ask yourself if you really want to be a top boxer.

Seriously never saw what everyone else saw. A legend was born by bludgeoning the likes of Rydell Booker, the course of Drummer Boy Molina, Mark De Mori and Emir Ahmatovic.

He turned his back to Zhang multiple times during his fight with Zhang. The next Boogeyman indeed.

I would actually want to see Hrgovic -Makhmudov.

The frustrating thing about Hrgovic is that his main issue isn't with any particular skill or physical ability it's that he's a lazy waster.

He's big, strong, good chin, hits hard enough, he's quite fluid. He's got the ingredients that if you combined them with determination, focus and work ethic you'd have a top heavyweight.

Problem is Hrgovic doesn't have determination, focus or work ethic, if he didn't have any boxing talent he'd be claiming unemployment benefit and laying on his sofa all day.

Every fight I see him in he looks like he's just smoked about 3 joints, he's just a lazy, lazy bum man, he only has himself to blame for his insipid career, a lot of heavyweights would kill for his natural talents.

He can’t throw combinations when he throws that straight right he is off balance.

Another thing that was a bad sign was his recent opposition. When the Saudis came along and put big money into the HW division to make the best fights, the rest of the top 10 took risks and fought each other, but Hrgovic went with DeMori instead to play it safe. Showed a lack of belief/ambition.

I will say I think he's better than Yoka. Probably still just about a top 10 HW.

I think people too quick to write off ddd. But ddd has been active fighting the best and you learn even from defeat. Whilst flips been coasting since Zhang fight.
Flip might learn a bit now too

He definitely deserved the loss in that Zhang fight and he never fought anybody else with a pulse.

He's just a basic plodder. No head movement, no footwork, no defense, no stamina, no heart.

                    Dubois sucks too.
