Look at round 3 there, look at the Ratio on it. It’s closer than Round 7 which apparently was a “close round” according to you clowns. So what now? What’s your view on that?

Round 2 also has a closer ratio than any other round except 7 and 12 aswell. What about that?

I think Fury can`t do it any better, he was probably in the best shape ever in the last 8 years and still lost. Usyk can do it better, he looked a little confused in the rounds 4-7 and I think he will not repeat it.

I expect Usyk to look better and even sharper and beat Fury about 9-3 in rounds or late stoppage.

I’m seeing a lot of them and quite surprisingly the majority of them suggest the rematch is going to be one sided, either Usyk has his number and will dominate the rematch or Fury will make the adjustments and emphatically avenge his loss.

With the first fight being so close and competitive, do you not think a rematch would also be very competitive. I see another close decision with Usyk’s output and stamina proving the edge.

Sometimes a different logic applies. I think that this fight will LOOK close and competitive and will probably be a split decision, however, I think one fighter will show, even in a most subtle fashion, that they are ultimately better.

Levels to the game... Lets say there are about 4 "either way" rounds... Discount em! for real fans? who cares? Yes the fight scorers can declare a winner, yes some judge can screw up the scoring giving too many of em to one, or the other guy... But for the real fans? we now have eight rounds of heavyweight boxing. I am looking for: who dominates the flow of the fight. Usyk dominated that aspect last fight imo. Who has a round where they do real damage, or controls the action of the round? Who comes on in the last 3 rounds? And the rest is simply subjective...

Keeping in mind that the boxing gods prolly want a rubber match, I would be particularly open to the judges making a fix.

I think Usyk will just outwork him again in another close fight but he'll take over again in the later rounds unless Fury is able to use his size and strength to slow the fight down which is something he couldn't do in the first fight. He just couldn't keep up with the pace Usyk set for a full 12 rounds and wasn't able to hold Usyk, lean on him etc for long enough periods to make it count. Usyk was able to avoid the clinches and get away while maintaining a crazy work rate. We know Fury can make adjustments but I just can't see how he'll be able to use his size advantage effectively enough to slow things down after seeing Usyk deal with that in the first fight. Yeah, he could use his long jab to keep Usyk away but like the first fight, Usyk just kept coming and Fury was looking fatigued after 7 rounds which is when he started getting caught more.

Well... That only matters under some circumstances. Whether people think scoring fights is populist and should be common knowledge, or, that it takes special understanding, there is room to say that those rounds were not clear.

But when he was successful he stood his ground more. Specifically he hit with a jab often a follow up and then threw a very circular hook across to the body of Usyk. This hook kind of reminded me of Cooney lol.

I think his biggest mistake was trying to circle Usyk... Usyk is a lot stronger than imagined and welcomed the opportunity to attack when Fury was not set.

Although I think Usyk’s gameplan/adjustments kind of forced that to Fury.

Round 2 was conclusive for Usyk. I don't know what people watch. I can only assume they thought Fury b.anging his head and smiling meant that Usyk knocking him backwards into the ropes wasn't worth anything.

It'll be another good fight.

Fury will actually be able to spar. He didn't spar for 3 months because of the cut, except some light body sparring with Ty Mitchell. So he will definitely be better conditioned and sharper with proper sparring. With better preparation he may not have let Usyk off the hook when Fury was in control in the mid rounds.

I don't think Usyk can do a great deal more than he did in the first fight, but maybe that'll be enough but he only won by a round or two. Usyk will rightly be the favourite. Just keep it in mind that he won't be getting an opponent that didn't spar for 3 months next time. That may make a big difference... or maybe not.

his conditioning wasnt right because he never really sparred after the cut postponement. So he went 3 months without real sparring, him and his friend Ty Mitchell did some light body sparring sometimes because the team didn't trust any outsiders with the cut.

People will call that an excuse and that's fine, but it's also a reality. Not everything that sounds like an excuse is unreasonable. If you don't spar properly, your conditioning simply can't be at its best, otherwise why bother sparring? It's essential.

Fury was in control mid way. Did Usyk's style make him feel the pace later? Sure. Is part of that because he didn't spar properly for 3 months? Of course, it has to be.

With a full camp of good sparring, things may be very different. We'll find out!
