It's good that Wilder is lower weight, he's always been better at 210s low 220s but his output and dilly dallying on the outside waiting to line up the perfect timed shot/counter with his extremely low output is why people think he had a good engine prior to Fury (ironically similar to Fury, not the waiting and countering mind you but catching rests when not laying on people to rest).

But it's unlikely he'll be able to tire Zhang with his style unless he can land extremely hurtful shots early and often but to do that he'll have to take chances despite Zhang being slow footed he's got fast hands and will potentially have faster hands than Wilder, which is crazy to say but Wilders hesitancy will play into the aforementioned hand speed.

Wilder nearly best weak as kitten fury in 1st fight, but other than that Zhang is so much better than Anyone wilder beat.
That alone is worrying me. Then on top of that Zhang hits harder than wilder, it's going g to be scary for wilder.
Hopefully wilder can take comfort in that he is younger, faster, and better gas tank. Those are things he's got going for himself

I will say this much. I am favoring and expecting a Zhang win here because Wilder appears spiritually broken to me. He no longer believes in himself.

However, if Wilder becomes reinvigorated, self-confident, start taking some risks and touch Zhang flush on that chin of his then he will win by stopping him.
