The KOs over Joyce have caused Zhang's hype machine to work overtime. If Wilder just boxes him early, he takes him out later. If he loses, then it means he doesn't want to be in the sport anymore. Me, I bet on Deontay by stoppage (but also put a tenner on a double decision win for Wilder and Hrgovic, at 68/1...one never knows.)

Wilder doesn't box though. I don't know if Zhang is hype but what I do know is that Wilder is a bookies nightmare. You can have valid reasons as to why he would lose, and equally valid reasons as to why he would win.

I like that bet alot. If Wilder still has some fire in him, I just cant fathom a guy like Zhang beating him. Zhang is a front runner, like a bigger version of Zab Judah.

Maybe a younger, dialed-in 217lb Wilder could, but this shop worn, older, 214lb version? Zhang is going to retire Deontay.

At Wilder’s age, it cant be easy especially having to wake up in silk pajamas every morning. But if he can get up for this fight, he can certainly do it. I’m betting on that too.

I'm not convinced his power was ever quite what it was made out to be. I am convinced by Zhang's.

EDIT: Zhang was 290 for the Parker fight, so he's a bit lighter for Wilder. I still think stamina is his kryptonite.
