False. Ggg said he’d fight anyone up to 168 so then when the Ward fight was offered ggg countered with a catchweight. He never offered to fight Ward at a full 168. He was willing to fight Froch however at the full 168 and then Froch retired instead of fighting him. Then eubank jr bailed right after that. Then Brook proved to be the only Brit with balls and had his career ruined. That’s the truth.

Blame Abel if you want but it was ggg who said it and then he changed his mind and wanted a catchweight. You can make excuses as to why but at that point Ward was a super 6 winner and ggg hadn’t yet fought canelo and biggest fight to date was Lemieux. Asking for more than 50/50 is another way to duck the fight in addition to the catchweight. So while canelo was ducking ggg, ggg was ducking Ward.

As for Froch, he punked out. On one end you want to say that ggg deserved more than 50/50 for Ward and then on the other end want to say that he wasn’t a big enough fight for Froch who got his ass handed to him by Ward. You’re quite the simpleton. You think Chavez jr, post Sergio Martinez and back to back fights with Brian Vera was a more meaningful fight than ggg back then for Froch?
