People forget how high Bute was rated by many at the time. People thought he’d smoke Ward and that Ward feared him. Then Froch smoked his boots and ruined his career.

ward shamelessly ducked him. that doesnt go away because bute lost. ward said the #1 guy bute had to earn the fight...then he literally tried to fight some guy named dmitri sartison. oh yeah and wards own promoter creamed him in court and proved that ward was ducking all the fights hbo wanted: ggg, bute, froch rematch in order to try to fight bums which hbo wouldnt approve. same thing as when floyd ducked margarito. oh he lost to williams see i didnt have to fight him! then of course marg came back and became #1 again unlike bute but waiting till guys lose then pretending you would have always beat them is typical psycho behavior

Meanwhile Bute was the one who didn’t enter the super 6 and sat back facing guys like Andrade, Brinkley, Magee, and Mendee while Ward was facing Kessler, Abraham and Froch. Then when bute finally had the chance to truly prove himself, he got smoked by someone Ward easily beat. You’re trying to convince me that based on those two levels of opposition l, and Ward who later on fought the prime Krusher version of Kovalev, shamelessly ducked bute? Yeahhhh ok.

he wasnt invited to the super six. bute was #1. ward refused to fight him. thats just a fact. if you see an easy mark you take them down like baldomir but ward didnt think bute was easy so he ducked him and made comical excuses. was bute a strong #1? not really but he was way more proven than dmitri saritson who ward tried to fight. go look at the court records. ward only wanted easy fights after winning the super six. yes he fought kovalev later on because that was his only way back on mainstream networks, but at the time he ducked bute he did not want to fight guys like bute, ggg, etc...and literally tried to fight sartison, pavlik, marco periban while saying "ggg is getting easy fights why cant I" hbo kicked him off their network for a reason. ward wanted the easy path like so many other boxers but he got denied. do you really think ward vs a shot pavlik is a good fight? or ward vs sartison? everyone was waiting for the super six winner to fight bute and ward said nope, and he didnt fight another legit fighter for 5 years and only when he was forced to. also the super six was rigged in his favor but thats a different story

Groves ******? Ok. I'm willing to bet he still accomplished much more in his particular discipline than you have in your meager little existence.

I'm no Ward fan by any stretch of the imagination but Margarito was a blatant cheater with hardened plaster in his gloves though. Everything he accomplished is therefore highly suspect.

you're wrong on all accounts. I’d break it down to you and even go into detail of ggg turning it down and even suddenly wanting a catchweight when declining a canelo catch weight but you seem to wrapped up in your lies to understand the truth. But have a good day.

I always fought Frochs most underrated performance was when he won his first world title against Jean Pascal and his best performance was when he beat Arthur Abraham. Nobody had beat Abraham convincingly up to that point
That Pascal fight was a barnburner. Too bad they never had a rematch.

I used to flame war with the Canadian fans often back then. I always thought that Bute was a manufactured champion who fought nobodies. The first dangerous body he faced was Froch and dude was like a deer caught in a headlight.

Had he entered the Super 6 tourney on Showtime, he definitely would have got exposed sooner. That’s why he ran from the tournament.
