Avoid is what Crawford did against Ennis. He has no valid reason to duck Ennis. He rather fight a guy with 10 fighs that no one knows. Crawford vs Ennis is much bigger fight than Crawford vs Madrimov, it's a clear duck.

You already expose your Knowledge by thinking Crawford can beat Canelo. It's called delusion and you are falling for it. Crawford best win is a Weight Drain, one eye Zombie, with a year Layoff. Other than that he hasn't done ****.

Canelo not fighting Crawford isn’t because of lack of confidence. The size difference is just too much.
And to say “Crawford has put himself in a better position for this than anyone canelo has faced in years.” is really stretching it.

Crawford is looking for that huge paycheck like everyone who wishes to fight Canelo. A loss will not dent Crawford’s legacy. Just to be clear, I am in agreement that Canelo is outrightly ducking Benavidez.
And Crawford has 100% ducked Boots. Beating Madrinov just gives Bud a belt. It is no different from his win over Khan or Brook - those were not legacy defining wins.

So now canelo suddenly cares about someone being too small? Did he care when he fought Lopez at 154 two fights removed from fighting at 140? Did he care when he fought Amir Khan for the mw title when khan couldn’t even take a shot at 135? Did he care when he fought charlo two weight classes above his weight when he was coming off an injury and 16 months of inactivity? But now he suddenly cares? Yeah right.

Canelo SHOULD fight Benavidez or Morrell. Or go for the winner of Beterbiev v Benavidez. Or just retire, if he doesn't want to take on any of the myriad undefeated top contenders. The last few fights have been a farce.

If he’s not gonna fight benavidez, then this is the fight that makes the most sense. Financially it’ll do great and despite the size difference, don’t be fooled, this is a risky fight for canelo because Crawford’s skills significantly surpass those of Canelo’s. The risk is if canelo loses to someone who was a welterweight, his legacy falls significantly. That didn’t seem to bother him during all the years he was fighting smaller men and didn’t bother him when he picked charlo 2 fights ago, but now he suddenly seems to care and that’s because the risk of losing is greater.

I think "significantly surpass" is an overstatement.....by a lot. Granted Canelo has built his legacy on his stopping power and chin, but he also has elite boxing skills that he showcases when the fight calls for it; Bivol didn't necessarily outbox Canelo, he was just the bigger guy and was able to put together excellent combinations. I think Crawford Canelo is a 50/50 fight and doubt Canelo is ducking Crawford.....hope the fight gets made it'll be high level excellent scrap.

Oscar came down from 160, no comparison to this fight. Martinez was old and both knees were damage/ injury. Well make sure you bet if Crawford fights Canelo. It will be easier than the Charlo fight. You are still impressed by Crawford beating a WEIGHT drain, one eye Zombie coming out of a year lay off. Crawford might be more skill than Canelo but he doesn’t have the power to hurt Canelo and doesn't have the punch resistance to handle Canelo's power.

Ok so I'm not the only who thinks that Crawford's victory over Spence, while great, had something to do with Spence being on a long layoff and slightly unprepared. I'd like to see them run it back but very unlikely to happen.
