You left out: Al Massey vs. Mike Cortez on Nov. 9, 1967 at the old Philadelphia Arena. It lasted 11 seconds.

I remember seeing the Thunder, Williams and Tua KOs live on TV. On a side note, I once met Marvis Frazier on his way to a charity event. Marvis was incredibly pleasant and humble and funny. He took time to chat with me and pose for a photo.

When I told him I recognized him, he said "Really? Who do you think I am?". I told him Marvis Frazier and said that I had watched many of his fights... his response, "Was I standing or laying down?"!!!

Should mention Lloyd Honeyghan's 40 second blast out of Gene Hatcher.

I'm sure either Foreman or Liston won without one punch being thrown. The opponent started hyperventilating & collapsed. Don't blame them either, they were both bad MoFos. Talking of bad MoFos, I'm 8-0 on Lichess this weekend so a bit of a bad MoFo myself.

Sadly, Honeyghan mashed his right hand on Hatcher & was never as good again.

Eye of The Tiger Promotions is a joke!

Each time they get air time, none of the bouts are
competitive they bring in all these fighters from different countries that not even the biggest fan has heard of and the referees are quick to stop it as well, then when their prospect steps up they get the crap beat out of them or their fighter get busted on some type of steroids', FACTS!

Sure it was over 2 minutes, but to this day I have not forgiven myself for predicting- loudly, often, and with convection- that Erickson Lubin would beat the breaks off of Jermell Charlo. Yeah.... not so much......

David Tua is still one of my favorite all time fighters, and that Ruiz win made me sure he was on a path to superstardom. Ruiz was strictly seeing the back of his skull he was so out of it.

PBR Streetgang: I remember being told that Marvis was one of the most talented amateur boxers anyone had seen. He was super slick with very fast hands, feet & moved well from side to side. When Marvis turned Pro his intention was to continue in that sort of style but I think his trainer had to pull out for some reason. Instead Joe Frazier took over his son's training & , basically, ruined him by making him stand flat-footed & punch instead of being on the balls of his feet boxing. That is my recollection anyway.
