The TBRB isn't perfect but they've never surrendered their integrity. Once you do it once you don't ever get it back. The people who literally worked at The Ring found its credibility so far gone they straight up quit their paid gigs and replaced it entirely with something that costs them money to run. The people who remained are the spineless ones.
So by your own logic that makes TBRB just as bad the WBA.

Ring’s ratings are very much in line with TBRB. Meanwhile the WBA’s are vastly different. To suggest one of them is comparable to the WBA is laughable.

Ring may have been bought by GBP but it still remains the bible of boxing. Muhammad Ali wasn’t on the cover of a TBRB magazine. Outside of avid boxing fans, the TBRB rankings are pretty irrelevant. Whereas Ring retains for more prevalence amongst the wider public.

Got news for you, The Ring is out of print. There are no more "covers" and the people who worked there when they had integrity all quit because of De La Hoya to found the TBRB. Blind nostalgia is all that is left. It's just a brand name.

You can’t erase history though. When people think of boxing rankings they think of Ring not TBRB. Deal with it.

People don't think of boxing rankings at all in general. Boxing is a niche sport and the amount of people who even know the difference between the sanctioning body rankings and The Ring is a minuscule fraction of that niche.

The Ring has many documented instances of acting against their own policies, a history of changing their policies on the fly, and they're literally owned by a boxing promoter. There's no way around that.

It's blind nostalgia and nothing else. The Ring is worthless. The TBRB only exists because The Ring failed us all.
            There’s plenty.

They made Floyd-Mosley for the Lineage, or Mosley-Margarito I forgot which one, which made no sense because Paul Williams was ranked above one of them.

They made Pacqauio-Bradley for the Lineage which made zero sense.

There’s been loads of times I’ve looked at their rankings and they’ve been questionable. But that happens all the time, it’s just how it goes.

It’s irrelevant anyway, you are comparing them to the WBA’s rankings that are a beyond a joke. It’s a dumb comparison and you either know that and are arguing it anyway or are too dumb to see it. I lean on the latter.

They don't even pretend to rank the best fighters. They rank fighters based on who plays their political game and jumps through their specific hoops the best.

              Real rankings:
              https://tbrb.org/rankings
              https://www.ringtv.com/ratings/
              https://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_/...oxing-rankings
              100%.

A lot of the bs with these belt groups now is they keep coming up with these bs minor belts, that also require a 3% purse fee, for guys to fight for that'll get you ranked. A lot of the most bs guys ranked if you look at resumes are guys who are or have been the ABC Latin America champion or Gold or Silver champion these days.

Ring are far more prevalent than TBRB though. There are boxing fans who’ve not even heard of TBRB.
