Promoters like Bob Arum don’t like having a transparent rulebook and being told who and when their champions have to fight. It ruins their in-house matchups.

So they steer their stables away from the IBF and towards more “friendly” and flexible organizations like the WBO for example.

The Ring is way better than the alphabet ranking in comparison no doubt, but they will continue to be considered PBC's sex friend until they actually have the guts to remove the currently beltless former single division champion with zero wins in over two years and a brutal loss in his last fight with absolutely nothing officially scheduled in the next few month at all off the overall top 10 P4P.

You think being owned by a promoter is as bad as ranking dead guys? Or ranking 46 year old Fres Oquendo #1 at HW? Or ranking Chris Lovejoy and Joe Fournier in your top 10/15?

As I said they’re streets apart,
If you get any amount of dog crap on the food you're about to eat, the food is ruined forever.

A small amount of dog crap on your pizza (The Ring) is not better than a large amount of dog crap on your pizza (the WBA). Any amount of dog crap ruins the pizza entirely.

But, by all means, have fun trying to wash crap off your pizza and pretend it's just as good.

            And TBRB are completely perfect?

You made a poor comparison, stop fighting it and just accept it, there’s no way in hell the Ring rankings are any way near as bad as the WBA’s.

Again, this is as far as the discussion goes. You're comfortable ranking different piles of dog crap, I say all crap is crap.

The TBRB isn't perfect but they've never surrendered their integrity. Once you do it once you don't ever get it back. The people who literally worked at The Ring found its credibility so far gone they straight up quit their paid gigs and replaced it entirely with something that costs them money to run. The people who remained are the spineless ones.

So by your logic TBRB is also dog crap then, isn’t it?

Or is this like the fighters you like? When you move the goalpost to suit your argument?

No, the TBRB never had a gigantic black mark on their integrity. They didn't strip Adonis Stevenson of their title, they never let a #3 or a #4 or a #5 fight for their vacant championship, they aren't owned by Oscar De La Hoya, they never had upcoming Canelo opponents suddenly vault into their rankings without winning a fight while Canelo was with Golden Boy, they never tried to ignore their own rankings and give their championship to the Pac vs Spence winner.

Everyone is free to disagree with the TBRB all they want, and I often do myself, but the TBRB has never once done anything to undermine their own integrity. They're non-profit, they're not affiliated with any promoters or networks or fighters, and they were founded by a group that would rather spend their own time and money doing this than compromise their integrity and accept Oscar's money to keep working for The Ring.

The Ring is a promotional tool of Oscar De La Hoya. That's all it will ever be until or unless he sells it. Just like the WBA is a promotional tool for any promoter willing to pay them, the WBC is a promotional tool for any superstar fighter, the WBO is a promotional tool for Bob Arum and Frank Warren, and the IBF is just out to make sure bad fights keep good fights from taking place the world over.

So you just dismiss when TBRB make bad decisions then is essentially what you’re saying and do the opposite for everyone else.

Who are you to speak on the integrity of these people? You don’t know them or their intentions.

You just like them when you do these weird rankings things that not a soul cares about so let anything slide and do the opposite with The Ring to the point you laughably put it on the same level as the WBA which is just pathetic from every angle.

I think it’s time to log off, again. You might want to take a week break and get a breather.

You haven't pointed out a single issue with the TBRB. They have never once acted against their own published rules. They have never once been involved in a scandal. I never dismissed anything, there's nothing to dismiss. I said sometimes I disagree with their rankings, which is true, but there's never been a single public issue with their credibility.

The Ring has many documented instances of acting against their own policies, a history of changing their policies on the fly, and they're literally owned by a boxing promoter. There's no way around that.

It's blind nostalgia and nothing else. The Ring is worthless. The TBRB only exists because The Ring failed us all.
