Fury lost when he let Usyk into his head. The postponement and weight loss were dead give aways.

I think a 2nd fight with Fury will NOT play like the 2nd Fight with AJ, where he fought better but Usyk was still able to make adjustments.
Fury now KNOWS that Usyk can hurt him, and hurt him probably worse than anybody has before. That beating Fury took in the 9th was worse than any 1 punch KD that Fury has ever suffered, he couldn't even raise his hands to defend himself. I doubt he wants to risk more.

If there is a rematch, I suspect an overly cautious Fury in a UD win for Usyk which will look a lot like rounds 1-3, where Fury was just backing away jabbing and Usyk chasing, landing the more consequential punches and edging the round.

Exactly. I always thought it was weird that everyone was saying that there was no way that Usyk could stop Fury when his punching power is well enough to stop other heavies and has the speed to deliver it with no issues. That said, Fury has one hell of a beard and unbelievable recovery powers. He ate 3 shots that were one hitter fight stoppers. Big respect to both men.

The deciding factor in the fight was the knockdown, but it's not difficult to knock Fury down, his mistake was trying to stay on his feet. He should've just gone down or taken a knee. His recovery is phenomenal, so if he didn't take so many clean shots trying to stay on his feet, he could've won the remaining rounds to edge a victory.

The problem with that estimate is an assumption that Usyk would not do anything about it. People saying Fury lost because he didn’t do something cannot get their head around the fact it is not what Fury didn’t do, but what Usyk did. He did what he always do - put the pedal to the floor and steamrolled Fury. If Usyk never had those gears, yeah, probably Bellew would have a great chance to beating him too. But Usyk has many of those gears that others don’t - that’s what makes him special. I am sure Fury will take the rematch and once again try his best; unless Usyk ages overnight the outcome will be the same - he won’t be able to keep up with Usyk for 12 rounds.

I'd like to remind people what a difference Tysons change in strategy made in Wilder II vs Wilder I.

If Fury doesn't try to box cute and comes out as a wrecking machine, I could easily see him stopping Usyk.

The big deference is that Usyk ain't a weak and limited one-trick pony like Wilder. If Fury dares to activate the rematch clause the result will be the same or even worse for him. Usyk knows that he has the strength to withstand Fury's wrestling and a superior ring IQ and boxing skills. And Fury knows that. And on top of that the power to knock him out. So, you can only comfort yourself with a wishful thinking.

Fury got sloppy, started playing too much.

He should have been coning forward and spamming jabs to the body and upper cuts. He was handling usyk in the middle rounds.

But usyk would adjust anyway so who knows

I've come to the realization that a lot of pundits just look at Usyk as a video game boss. "If they do this they'll beat him, this version of them can do it next time, this adjustment will surely be the key" etc.

He's been outweighed by 30-40 pounds in his last 4 fights and has always fought championship bouts (-1) on the 'away' field, and he'won Every. Single. One. Usyk IS little Mac.
