  • Comments Thread For: Frampton: 'Fury Threw Victory Away, He Can Beat Usyk In A Rematch'

Carl Frampton has urged Tyson Fury to pursue a rematch with Oleksandr Usyk after watching him "throw victory away". Usyk won their undisputed heavyweight title fight in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - where Frampton was ringside - but had to come from behind to do so after a difficult opening six rounds.

Fury hurt Usyk a few times to the body. If he kept it up, I believe he would KO him.

Firstly Northern Ireland and England are not that friendly and secondly Carl has been very critical of Fury in the past to the extent he had a clash with John Fury over it.

        He's entitled to his opinion.

Not really, Frampton thought Ngannou beat Fury and said it on TV.

To be fair, Frampton's side in NI would be friendly with England but I agree, this isn't Carl's British nationalism speaking, it's his honest view and I agree with it, mid fight it looked like Fury's to lose and he blew it.

Can he win a rematch? he wouldn't be favorite that's for sure.

Obviously is because your incorrect assumption is based on that stereotype.

A true fighter's spirit is an amazing thing. The fact that Fury is even considering a rematch is quite crazy to the normal human.
Would Fury have been rocked like that if he had not been hit with so much thunder against Wilder?
I have to wonder and worry for him moving forward. These are big men that hit really hard and he has been hurt more than a human should be hurt.

Threw it away when he got his nose broken perhaps?. Usyk was starting to come on strong, but the nose break was the beginning of the end IMO

Maybe we give the middleweight rabbit some credit here

Nobody talking about the obvious weight advantage? They need to make another division between 200-230 lbs. Then super heavyweight from 230 lbs & up. Fury is good but he is also a giant with a huge advantage. Try putting Crawford in with Benavidez or Canelo, see how he does. Not fair.
