His poor performances and knockdowns vs Wilder can be attributed to awful tactics and terrible conditioning.

    Same in this fight.

Why does Fury have no muscle tone? He should have done weights a bit at some point in his career to put on good weight. He's always be a flabby cvnt which is unforgiveable at this level.

His brothers are in better shape aesthetically than him lol
Maybe get back on the peds with a hearty bowl of balls then a Hollywood style line of blow
    lmfao

Looked to me like the officiating broke Fury's way this time, the way it broke Usyk's way the last time we saw him in the ring.

I don't see anything more to it.

You blame the ref for Furys loss?

You have to know where you are to take a knee. Fury was on ***** Street and likely **** himself a little

Na. If anything, the ref made a mistake by not counting a KD when Fury was held up by the ropes like 4 times before the last one. That’s a KD.

I will say though, it was absolutely a slow count. Definitely gave him time to recover. Whether it was intentional or not. And I don’t think it was intentional.

If not intentional then what else could it have been ???

Fury was clearly held up by the ropes, which is technically a knockdown. Therefore, what the ref issued was a mandatory eight count (different from a standing eight count). Mandatory eight counts are a requirement when a fighter is knocked down. Hopes this clears up some confusion. Here’s the Wikipedia page on this issue: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mandatory_eight_count

I was fine either way. Either they stopped it or it continued like it did. If anything the first time Fury fell into the ropes should had been counted as a knockdown.

Fights like the Santillan one should be stopped even before it ended. Fights like Fury/Usyk I like when they continue, Fury got his wits afterward.

                    No

                    1) it's for the undisputed heavyweight championship. Probably the most prestige title in boxing. Gotta give both fighters the benefit of the doubt

                    2) imo, only logical reasoning to stop the fight is if Fury was getting absolutely beaten up until that point. Like Fury-Wilder 2, where you think any more damage could ruin his health

                    3) Usyk is a decent puncher, but not a bludgeoning puncher where you would say, "man, I don't think Fury should take any further shots"

It was a slow count, but a good call. There would be more backlash if they stopped the fight at that point, given Fury's ability to recover and how close the fight was. Might've stained the result too; some people in this group would've made threads discrediting Usyk if the ref stopped the fight

Seemed like a lack of respect for Usyk's power. Against Wilder, he went down quick when things got rough.
