Geez...everybody with their "mental health" these days. Get deployed in Desert Storm, "Sir, Yes Sir!" Get trolled online where you can just not look at the comments, "I've got PTSD." Seriously, wtf?

Maybe his exit was not compleatly voluntary .................... ? the announcer on ESPN acted like it was the most offensive thing that could happen in life...........what a joke the over reaction to making a mistake in boxing not like he knocked the other fighter out to cover up his mistake....

Michael Buffer is the G.O.A.T. All these other guys just try to copy him or are ch1t... Hennessey is absolutely terrible though, I was cringing inside out watching him last weekend - he made a good choice in retiring. I think he has just clocked on to the fact that most fans view him as an abysmal announcer. And his gaffe was absolutely unforgivable, just instant career suicide.

**** performance aside it's refreshing to see a human being in 2024 take responsibility for something they did wrong. Kudos to Hennessey for that at least.

Messed up that he let these comment sections shame him into quiting his job. It was a bad f%$# up, but dam. He took responsibility and accountability for it like a man(something most dudes don't do nowadays) and deserves respect for that alone. Maybe there's something more to it, but who knows. God bless him.
