    Terrible decision by Oscar.

casuals only know Manny beat the hell outta Oscar but boxing people know that it was a farce. Manny gets very little credit for that fight. Oscar had absolutely nothing

That fight was a farce, any top 10 welterweight with a bit of dog would have wiped the floor with that 147 Oscar.

oscar and floyd were supposed to rematch at 147. floyd pulled out and oscar decided to continue fighting at 147. why did he do that? well he had just lost a close fight with floyd who was considered the best fighter in the world so beating a little pacquiao seemed easy to him.

"Now Oscar is getting brave with a 135-pound fighter and is trying to convince everyone that it's a tough fight," Margarito said. "He's getting brave with a great fighter, but a fighter who fights at 135 pounds. He wants to show the world that he can pull the trigger against a 135-pounder. What a man! What a hero!"

ODH was already in the midst of moving down to 147 (fought Steve Forbes at 150lbs) to rematch Mayweather. When the Mayweather fight fell apart, he decided to face Manny instead at 147.

It wasn’t even supposed to be Pacquiao, it was supposed to be Cotto but then the Margarito fight had happened during the summer. Most considered it a duck that he didn’t take the Margarito fight at the time and Pacquiao was viewed as way too small. Nobody was predicting Oscar to be the zombie he came out as and nobody foresaw Pacquiao’s performance. That’s why it was a superstar making fight.

Pacman also in his whole career never weighed above 147 and only weighed in 147 twice in his career. People can say De La Hoya drained all they want Pacman coming up and beating him was still impressive
Get your facts right before you make claims, Manny weighed 147 on the night and Oscar weighed 145 . Manny had been weighing 144 fightnight since his 130 days.

Oscar had not made 147 for over 10 yrs and the last time he was 145 was as a 135 pounder, he gained 2lbs from the weigh in and was the worst case of a drained fighter Ive ever seen worse than LaLonde and Dawson.

And as a comparison Oscar weighed 164 against Floyd and 145 against Manny.

he's talking about the weigh in .. pac was 142 while oscar came in at 145... aint manny's fault oscar didnt rehydrate correctly on fight night.,. and once again, pac has never fought at 147. oscar was training for a fight at 147 against marg.. fight fell thru, oscar cherry picked manny thinking it would be an easy fight. get your facts right bruh. oscar was the one calling pac out at 147!
