Why are people critical of Pac on this one? Oscar was the established draw and the one calling the shots, he decided on the weight so it wouldn't look to be as bad of a cherrypick. He did this in order to duck Margarito at the time who looked like a freight train at 147 but it all backfired.IceTrayDaGang likes this.

Put it all into perspective and its a soft win.

Of course a lot of people picked ODLH to win. Pac had gone 12 against Barrera, a fighter that he previously dominated and stopped and had a split decision against Marquez who he struggled against. After the low hanging fruit in Diaz he went up to fight Oscar. Oscar fought Forbes to get into the style of fighting a boxer since he might had faced Floyd again.
Older fighters should not be coming down in weight especially a weight they have not done in years. ODLH miscalculated but at the end he took the money.

Oscar didn't practice the cut, he guessed he could make it and was wrong as I said in hind site all the pieces tell the real story, the blame is on Oscar he did it to himself but lets not think beating him that night was a great win, it was a win that capitalized on very big mistakes made culminating in a broken fighter that was a shadow of his best.
