I didn't say it's a requirement, I said activity comes into it. In other words, I would consider greater activity as an element in a fighter's favour and I would consider inativity to count against a fighter. I don't think that's controversial.

I look at activity as something that should be a bonus aspect to those who does more, and not necessarily a negative.

Although barring a legit injury I personally think those who don't fight atleast once within 12-13 month span shouldn't be considered in general and removed from the list until they fight again.

Hinging on Stevensons refusal to fight is more than just problematic, its a dismissal without consideration and that is where it falls apart.

Inoue has never fought anyone close to Stevenson's skill, IQ, speed and athletic ability built into one guy. Stevenson has fought power punchers and dispatched them in one sided outings so power is not enough, speed alone is not enough and Stevenson is no fool in the ring.

Can Inoue beat prime Stevenson at 130lbs? I don't know, but (contrary to tweeker chatter) I DO KNOW that Stevenson would certainly be the most difficult fighter Inoue has ever stepped into the ring with.

Like Stevenson or not, disqualifying him based on nothing isn't much of an argument.
This sounds extremely familiar, like when people were saying the same sh it about COOL BOY STEPH and we all saw how that went….. same old story….

            gotcha.
Sigh.......Inoue was a sleep at the wheel and got caught.

Crawford was showing off, fighting as a southpaw and got caught. (Crawford's dominant position is Orthodox).
