  • This was a TaylorMade fight for Inoue.

Nery was dropped several times after being champ, and he was hurt to the body top.

    Inoue is very strong.

Honestly the resume of Inoue is sh.it.

Only Nery and Fulton are good champs, good champs, not great.

And if an old Donaire is your Best win at 31 years old, they said a Lot.

People was hating on Canelo for beat GGG at 35 when he was a new car, without wars.

Donaire at that time had a Lot of wars.

      • So many salty Americans in this thread.

I hope they never get their dream of dragging inoue over to the states, making him climb 2 divisions and robbing him aka the American boxing playbook.

That's the best fighter in the world right there folks.

Rankings reflect the TBRB rankings of the opponent in the division they fought at the time of the fight.

All 14 opponents were reigning, former, and/or future world titlists.
          Lol

Fielding was top-10 in the rankings too.

And Yieldrim was the #1 in wbc.

          Stop.

0 opponents in the top 25 P4P list.

          Pretty sh.it resume.

And Inoue ducked González when both were 112 -115 champs

My bad. Was just saying he isn’t the ‘first’ - unless you meant the first among those selective names.
Donaire I was great and all. I just meant the last three matches in particular starting from Butler and on where the opponent was on the defensive starting from R1 unlike Nery tonight. I didn't mention Donaire II (the 4th match prior to Butler) only because it was a rematch of the same person who gave a great match.

              Looks like another mismatch
I called it a mismatch pre-fight. It truly is. But Nery actually ended up doing a little better than I expected. But he just best a top 10 guy at his weight class. Look at who’s #1 and #2 ranked by The Ring, Fulton and Tapales, who he already destroyed. Nery is #5.

Who do you fight next? Keep going down the list? makes no sense. He just fought the best of the weight class and stopped them. He’s done with 122.

He and his team ducked Román González when both were champs.

They said Inoue was green, but he was champ with 5 title fights in his bag.

These aren't sanctioning body rankings you clown, these are TBRB rankings. Get out of here with your casual takes.

Yeah bad decision. Although he did mention his walk-around weight was 140 ish.

Manny Pacquiao as well as Floyd went as high as 147/154 whilst only walking around at 144-150 throughout there Welterweight days & being immensely undersized. 130 would probably be his ceiling, I’m guessing.

That’s how you do it. Then he shook his hand afterward. Called him out very firmly, but respectfully. In front of everyone.
What I like about Inoue is that he's always lining up the next fight. The fans don't have to worry about inactivity with Inoue.
