Or hell, how about David Benavidez? He is scheduled to fight in June already against Gvozdyk, why not skip all that and go straight to Bivol?

Turki could make these things happen.
Yes Gvoz vs David makes no sense anymore.

Think this a ploy myself similar to Fury trying to buy some time, perhaps he actually observed ramadan and hopes postponing will give him a better chance against the more polished boxer.

But truthfully just like Fury against Usyk the better BOXER will come out on top and they're just delaying their inevitable undoing...

Depends on tear, but likely yes.

Artur Beterbiev has had to many fight postponements throughout his career, which indicate that his body is breaking down.
The wear, and tear is going to cost him in future fight's against elite fighters like Dmitry Bivol, who's body is still intact.
Because of this new revelation about Beterbiev having sustained a torn meniscus, I'm picking Bivol to beat him when they finally do fight.

If I were Dmitrii Bivol right now, I'd be thinking "damned if I do, damned if I don't," because he either beats an injured old man and gets an asterisk win, or an injured old man beats him and gets a solid win.

A torn meniscus. At age 40, Artur is likely going to be on crutches for a few weeks.

Towns came back extremely fast, just 4 weeks after the surgery, while Embiid took 8 weeks. But in general it's a 6-8 week recovery timeline and then they're back to full activity.

It will have negative consequences later in life, but shaving off the torn part is a much faster recovery and most athletes choose that over the full repair. The full repair doesn't always work, but when it does it's a better quality of life in the long term. But the trade off is a much longer recovery time and the chance that it simply doesn't heal and you end up having to shave it anyway.
I tore my meniscus and lateral ligaments in Jan 2016. Because of where I was I opted to not operate at all. The body can and does recover naturally. I avoid running though. I walk a ton and do body squats every day. But my way is not an option for a pro athlete.
