Arthur knew what he's coming in. Bivol boxing skills will be too much for him in this fight. Bivol is no Callum Smith...

The older you get the more your injuries linger. Life has a way of letting you know that for everything there is a season

This some f%#$ ish. Fight was a month away, now it's gonna be a year plus away. Father Time is undefeated and Beterbiev is just one of his next victims one way or another. Now, it's a matter of whether they can find a decent replacement for Bivol to fight or the whole show goes to the gutter.

The more I think of it, I am honestly not sure the fight will happen, and Artur may just retire after the injury... OR he makes this the retirement fight and they move it to Russia... where this would be a massive fight.

In the meantime, I think we possibly get Bivol vs Canelo 2 in the fall? And Artur vs Bivol in January in Moscow?

This sort of thing happens and just as in sport animals the best are the most injury prone when conditioning them, because they always give their all and it can break something quite easy, the man in the street doesn't have a clue how hard these are guys push themselves its close to super human stuff. Hope he heals completely and we get the fight.

No we waited six years because Beterbiev was ducking Bivol. he even left DAZN when Bivol joined trying to make the fight and ran to top rank and hid behind them for a few years

watch every Arum interview until about six months ago, he was saying he doesn't want to make that fight because "Bivol is boring", which is promoter talk for "he will outbox my fighter" - they only got interested in the Bivol fight when the money was too much to refuse.

Beterbiev should quit watching those Keith Thurman training videos.

Torn meniscus would mean atleast 1 year of recovery time for a normal person. Not adding the camp and sparring time. Though I doubt if its torn meniscus.
